This is a server side mod & probably works during single player too.  This was tested on Medal of Honor Breakthrough.  (might work on Spearhead & AA too but i only tested it on Breakthrough...most likely it will work on Spearhead & AA too because all this does is manipulate the BAR & STG44 which are both guns you can get on Spearhead and Allied Assault original)

How to install

Unzip and place pk3 file in maintt folder (try mainta and main folders too, remove to uninstall.This only works right when other mods aren't in the folder. If you MUST have this in the maintt folder when other mods are in then add more zZz's to the beginning of this file name so it loads last or else the other mods will overwrite parts of this mod when being used. This comes with three pk3 files but only choose ONE to use at a time.

This converts the BAR & STG44 into an MG42 that you can run around shooting like a normal gun. It also gives you 9999 ammo (only for the MG42s), a one click sniper scope and the High Standard Silenced pistol as an extra side-arm. I called this a beta version because the skin on the MG42 doesn't look right (kind of greyish instead of dark blue with wood etc). This file comes with a modded BAR skin which is actually the MG42 skin but for some reason the skin won't go on the skeleton of the MG42 so it just looks gray (the original BAR skin most likely).The MG42 is sideways and not in the player's hand correctly but other then that it is an MG42 in every way.If you think you can fix the problems listed then be my guest.You can email me the fixed file at [email protected] Tell me the name you want to be called in the email so I can give you credit when I send in the fixed version to mohfiles.com


1ST UPDATE:

BAR to .30 Cal & STG 44 to MG42 Converter v1

This turns the BAR into a .30 Calbut still looking like a BAR & the STG 44 turns into an MG 42 but still looks like an STG 44. You get a High Standard Silenced pistol, a sniper scope and9999 ammo for each weapon. These use the sounds of the 30 & MG, shoot the same power bullets as them and there's no recoil.

This is like v1 only instead of changing the BARand STG44 into the .30 Cal & MG42 now it actually replaces them with the 30 & MG. The guns look like the 30 and MG instead of the BAR & STG. You have infinite ammo and no crosshair so you aim with the 
tracers of your bullets. The guns sit kind of funny in the players hand but who cares really. I tried to get it to fit in the hand better but no luck, it doesn't affect accuracy or anything so it's not a big deal.
