Just run your mods, and let everyone else enjoy! ///// Weapons Pak *** Notes about weapons pack The weapons pack was done over time while it was tested. Weapons were designed to be more powerful, yet relatively equal to one another for good game play. *** Weapons changed, specifically 1. All weapons have less recoil, and are more accurate 2. All weapons have increased clip sizes and firing rates. 3. Sniper rifles are pinpoint accurate when standing still 4. All other rifles and the mp44 have a double-right-click scope 5. Some rifles are semi-automatic when you are running 6. Shotgun is effective over double its normal distance 7. Rockets have peep scopes and are semi-automatic 8. The colt and Nagant revolver are deadly accurate. 9. The P38 can bash from far away 10. The Kar 98 mortar gun can shoot its grenades much further and quicker 11. You cannot drive or fly them 2. They are operated by the server, and run in a continuous loop 3. They are indestructable 4. They aim and fire on predetermined locations (sniper and camper hangouts) 5. Tanks and vehicles (not planes) do occasionally target and fire on people when they are close enough *** Turret weapon changes Turret weapons (anti-aircraft gun, flak 88, & nebelwerfer) were added to every DM board (excluding Unterseite and Stalingrad) They have all been modded to be indestructable and have a wider and faster range of motion. *** How the mountable jeep works in Holland 1. The jeep has a loop path that it will follow 2. The jeep will follow that path when someone is aboard, and stay idle when no one is on it 3. To board the jeep - Stand to the jeep's West side a few paces away from it - Face the jeep (facing East), and make sure the jeep is centered in your view. - walk directly towards it and it should pick you up - you do NOT need to press 'use' or anything else to board the jeep 4. Jeep boarding is activated by walking through a trigger field, which spawns when the jeep is idle. 5. The trigger field will spawn on the jeep's Western side, about a pace away from the vehicle 6. After you do it a few times, it will be easy ///// Total mod notes *** Server side mod This is a server side ONLY mod. (which is the beauty of it, really) It doesn't need to be downloaded or installed by clients for them to play and have full use of the mods. No maps, skins, or sounds were changed for this mod. Notice the whole mod is under 200 kb. This is because every piece of this mod is written in script form. *** installation just unzip "zmods.pk3" and "zweapons.pk3" and place them into your "mainta" folder. *** possible mod conflicts All weapon tik files are changed All map main script files are changed Ubersound was changed. I suggest you run the mod alone. If you add additional mods, check the files for conflicts. *** running just the weapon pak, or running the mods without the weapon pak To run just the weapon pak, only put "zweapons.pk3" into your "mainta" folder To run just the other mods, only put "zmods.pk3" into your "mainta" folder
