						Deek's 3.0 Sound Mod



-Built for Allied Assault, Spearhead & Breakthrough

-Allied Assault & Spearhead Sounds have been modified, none of any original sounds built for Breakthrough, have been modified.



~Instructions~ :  Paste or drop Sound Mod in the game your running.  ( Main, Mainta, Maintt ) FOLDER

~NOTE~         :  If you have other Weapon Skin Mods, some of them have a personal sounds for that skin.  It may or may not read your                        Weapon Sound in your Skin mod.  To be sure, either remove Your Skin mod or remove my Sound mod.  You could also swap                       sounds from Pak file to Pak file/Skin Mod.  If you want to work with files inside a .pk3.  Look for a little program                   called, ( Pakscape )







-What has been changed from 2.0 TO 3.0 ?



1.  The Grenade explosions 1-4 have been tweaked, added an echo.

2.  The Bazooka #2 explosion sound has been amplified with an echo also.  1 & 3 have stayed the same as 2.0.

3.  The MG42 sound has been modified once again.  It still has its cooldown, just a different fire sound.

4.  Pistol Whip has a grunt now with it.  It takes force to swing that gun.

5.  Music folder has been removed, along with the rest of non-important, stray files, that floated in version 2.0.

6.  Flesh Impacts by bullets, now have your player vocally saying it hurts ( screams, grunts ), when the bullet strikes flesh.

7.  Fixed Sten Reload & Colt 45 Reload.



-Thats about it.  If I missed something, I'm sorry.  I think I got it all though.

-Like I said above, if you want to modify or make your own Sound mod.  Get (Pakscape) !  It works great.  Just remember when rendering your music files, like .WAV files, the game only recognises certain sample rates.  The .WAV sample rate the Game understands is ( 44,100 Hz, 16 Bit, Mono )  and for .MP3, it understands ( 128 Kbps, 44,100 Hz, Stereo, MPEG Layer-3 )
