This mod adds dogs to multiplayer maps.
Two dogs will appear on a map at any given time and attack everyone they can. They are drawn to weapons fire.

What you get with this: Each multiplayer dm map has dogs. At any given time, 2 dogs are on the board. Each of the two dogs has its own 4 different spawn points. They chase you. They are mostly attracted to close weapon fire. They bite. It'll take off 45 health when you get bit. Some answers: 1. I selected the spawn points. About half of them are in general areas (streets, alleys, etc). The other half are near places where people usually like to roost (sniper spots, hidden nooks, etc). 2. 2 dogs at a time is enough. With more, my server tended to lag. But even with 2, the spawns are close enough together that it seems like there is more. 3. How did I get coordinates for spawn locations? - In each map's main script file, you find a thread called "location". In the main section of the script you'll see a call to that thread that is commented out. It will read: " //thread location". If you take out these comments, save, and repak the mod..then you get coordinates of yourself. Look in the console, and every 5 seconds, the server will give you your location. 4. Why this mod is pretty cool? - The dogs don't kill that many people, in general. But it's always fun when they do. Because they often spawn around typical sniper and camper roosts, they tend to keep the players moving more. Snipers probably won't like this mod as much as machine gunners, but oh well. And most of all, it's something different, eh? Installation: 1. Extract the pak file "zdogs.pk3" into your "main" folder (which is in "Mohaa") 2. That's it. Possible mod conflict problems: 1. ubersound.scr - if you have other sound mods installed also 2. all the map scripts (mohdm1-mohdm7) - in each of these lies the heart of the dog code.
