Capcom have confirmed in an interview with Game Informer that the upcoming Iceborne expansion for Monster Hunter: World will be the final one, bringing the story arc to a close, stating that "Iceborne basically completes World, so it will be the last expansion".
It'll be sad that we'll be getting no more entries to what has been an awesome entry in the Monster Hunter series, but at the same time I'm pretty excited to see what Iceborne will bring to the table. This does not mean it'll be the end of support for the game, though, as they'll still be providing updates and enhancements after Iceborne releases.
The new expansion will apparently be 50/50 between the old continent and new, with the beta already available for PS4 players and the PC release coming in 2019. You can check out the rapid fire Q&A below.
