Getting Started ------------------------------------------------- Unzip the Jersey Import Tool to a folder on your hard drive. Located in the Unzipped Folder will be 4 files. a. Jersey Importer.exe b. gimex.dll c. uniform.bmp d. uniform.fsh Create a copy of uniform.bmp file and rename the file to something else. Creating a copy allows the creation of a Home and Away jersey while keeping the original BMP file untouched.(Example: create a home.bmp and an away.bmp file) ------------------------------------------------- 2. Creating your jersey ------------------------------------------------- Load one of the new copies of uniform.bmp file into a graphic editor program (example: Adobe Photoshop) and create a Home and Away uniform. When creating the Home and Away uniforms make sure that only the items within the designated boxes are changed and that the bright green color surrounding certain parts of the uniform is not removed or colored over (The bright green color is removed when entering into game play). When creating the Uniform DO NOT put the team logo onto the jersey. Only place the team logo into the specified team logo window within the uniform.bmp file. The team logo will be the same for your Home and Away jerseys. When creating the uniform DO NOT change the size of any of the boxes containing items. Once your Home and Away jerseys are ready to be saved, the file format should be saved as follows: 800x600, 24 or 32 .bmp Once the files are saved, remember where they are saved on your hard drive. ------------------------------------------------- 3. Using the Jersey Import Tool ------------------------------------------------- Double click on Jersey Importer.exe file. The EA Sports – NHL Jersey Importer 2002 will now be Loaded. 1. Press "Next" to continue or "Cancel" to quit the program. 2. Load the Home jersey by pressing the Load Home button and locate the file on your hard drive and when it is located select the file and press open (a visual representation of the BMP file should be visible in the Home Jersey window). Load the Away Jersey by pressing the Load Away button and locate the file on your hard drive and when it is located select the file and press open (a visual representation of the BMP file should be visible in the Away Jersey window) Once the Home and Away Jerseys are loaded press Next to continue. Select your main logo from your Home jersey or Away jersey from the pull down menu. Once the team name, home town and main logo are entered select Next to continue.
