SpecOp9 has a few new screenshots for us to enjoy and he also announced the switch to Armed Assault in the future. Below is the rest of the story. Instead, the goal is to see what it's like to turn ArmA into an actual shooting game. Re-Animated units will allow for the player to shoot enemies while running. With the completely remade collision detection system BIS has designed, I'm sure to see improvements in indoor areas. So now, this mod will have many indoor "levels". Another big aspect of the game, is the city. You play in a large skyscraper infested city. However, I'm thinking on cutting the city size dramatically. While large cities are definately possible and lag free, when you consider things like civilians, and vehicles, and physics, that is when you realize the limit as to what you can do, so the city wont take up the entire 512x512 map as I had originally intended. The cities will still be fairly big. The Campaign, yes, will have voice overs. I have finally found some folks who would love to do voice acting work, and you can expect to hear them in the mod, with high quality microphones and voice talent. This mod takes place in the future. I don't want to give away too much of the story, because that is really my favorite part. ONE by Zorbtek Studios has already started development for Armed Assault. Basically I want to try something new with the engine. I want objective based missions, like something out of TimeSplitters or GoldenEye. I think that is the best way to sum up the gameplay... aiming for a TimeSplitter/PerfectDark/GoldenEye type of mod for ArmA.[/quote]
