Welcome to the DMA Lean anim pack
---------------------------------
---------------------------------

By Sanctuary, Saturday 25 February
For the DMA modteam (TacRod, Honchoblack and Sanctuary)

---------
IMPORTANT
---------

The content of this pack is free to be used into every mods, without asking permission to the DMA modteam and myself.
Just add credits to the DMA modteam and it will be OK

-------
WARNING
-------
This is not compatible with Multiplayer, unless the server has this installed, so if you want to play with that online, ask a server admin to put this on server.
This is not compatible with Locke anim mod , do not try to install both at the same time it will not work, as both mod are using the same config method.

This can always potentially give problem to your computer, despite at 99,9999% it is your fault for not paying attention to the instructions, the DMA modteam does not accpet any responsability, use this DMA Lean anim pack at your own risk !!

------------------
This pack features
------------------
-Leaning animation left and right for the standing position
-Leaning animation left and right for the crouch position
-Rolling left and right for the prone position
To use those new animations you just need to press your left or right key while pressing the sprint key and being in standing, crouch or prone position.

-Tactical run, when moving forward in crouch position
-Slow tactical move when aiming , when walking forward or moving forward with ironsight

The AI is able to use the tactical run and slow tactical move all by itself when it is in Combat mode/behaviour.
The AI is unable to use a leaning or rolling by itself, sorry.

All these animations have been created using my DMA Animation pack "NextGen" 1.1 as a basis, so they will interpolate perfectly with this animation pack.
You can always use a different replacement pack, but i don't guarantee the transition will be as perfect.

--------------
How to install
--------------

THE EASY WAY
------------
If you have no idea on how using a simple text editor, and a simple Copy/Paste feature of a text editor, i included for you, a "ready" to use mod

take the @DMALEAN folder and put it directly in
...\Codemasters\Operation Flashpoint\
so you obtain
...\Codemasters\Operation Flashpoint\@DMALEAN

That's all, if you have followed and paid attention, just launch OFP , with

-mod=@DMALEAN

added to the Target line of a shortcut, and you will be able to play with the new animations,
included in this mod my pistol anim 1.2 "leaning version" and my animation pack NG 1.1 "patrol version" pre-installed, using a modified BIS config to unlock my new lean/roll/crouchmove anims.

THE HARD WAY
------------
NOTICE : DO NOT FOLLOW THE HARD WAY IF YOU TRY TO EDIT A MOD MAIN CONFIG THAT HAS CUSTOM ANIMATIONS IMPLEMENTED IN IT, SEE THE NEXT SECTION "FOR DEVELOPERS" TO SEE WHAT TO DO EXACTLTY.

The installation needs some work from you, it is in fact very easy, but you need to pay attention if it is the first time you touch a config :

--Open the file named CopyPasteMe.txt
Select all and click Copy (or CTRL+C )

--Open a "main" config.bin, with Binview convert it into config.cpp that can be found in
http://ofp.neco.cz/index.php?comments=6989&newlang=eng

So you have an editable config.cpp , with a text editor (like Wordpad) locate the class CfgMovesMC, now select the whole class CfgMovesMC .
Important : DO NOT SELECT MORE THAN THIS WHOLE CLASS
in a BIS config, the whole class CfgMovesMC is located between
....
	GetOutCar="";
	GetInTank="";
	GetOutTank="";
	TakeFlag="";
	HandGunOn="";
	};

and

class CfgAmmo
	{
	access=1;
....

DO NOT SELECT LESS THAN IT (forget something and it will never work)

--Now you have the whole CfgMovesMC class selected (and so highlighted) , click Paste (or CTRL+V)

--This way the whole CfgMovesMC class will be replaced by what you copied from the CopyPasteMe.txt, it is a new CfgMovesMC class that "unlock" my lean/roll/crouchmoves animations.

If the config.cpp needs to be converted into a config.bin (if you found it in config.bin state, it will need to be converted back in config.bin), use the tool named cpp2bin that you can find at
http://ofp.neco.cz/index.php?comments=3257&newlang=eng

--------------
FOR DEVELOPERS
--------------
If you plan to include what i modified from the CfgMovesMC class in your own mod, i made it easy for you to locate the modification

-Open the CopyPasteMe.txt

Search for all occurence of
//DMA new

And you will quickly see everything you need to modify in your config, it should be simple for you

------
NOTICE
------
If you want to add this to a mod that has its own config.bin or config.cpp, and if you are unsure on how to do it, do not bother to ask me i don't own the intellectual rights to other mods and will not modify them.
In that case , you must ask the wanted mod own devteam for instructions or permission to use their mod config and implement the DMA new Lean anims.

Enjoy

--------
CREDITS:
--------
-LockeGermany for finding the config method for implementation in his own "Locke anim mod"
-my DMA partners and Sputnik Monroe for the testing
-Myself for the long battle in OFPAnim to make all those animations :)
