This addon is similar to the RF8-GAZ98 Aerosan in that it models one of the aerosleds used by the Russian Army around the World War II period, for patrolling and so forth.
This version is for more heavy-duty work as it is heavily armoured all round and is a great deal more robust. It can carry four passengers in style by rather cleverly having them ride standing on the skis; see the screenshots.
The addon is of a high quality and seems very accurate to the real-world NKL-26. It has many nice features such as animated entry doors and hatches, as well as the propellor.
It is just as much fun as the other aerosled for dashing around the winter islands in, but bear in mind that it will move more slowly as it's more akin to an M113 on skis.
One thing that will drag the rating down, though, is the highly irritating HTML readme. There is absolutely no point in this, and it has not even been done very well and looks quite ugly. A silly rotating flash movie of the aerosled increases the size of the addon by 694kb, pittance for broadband users but annoying for those on 56k. Excuse me while I tell the addon developers that "We do not care about a pointless and irritating flash object in a pointless and irritating HTML readme. It is not necessary. We would rather you spent time adding another feature to the addon, thank you very much. Do Not Do This." More importantly, I had to write this review twice as it opened in the same window as my review.

Note this addon will work with version 1.96 and may run with slightly earlier versions ie 1.91 but this has not been tested for.
