A Bug With Quake 4 And Kaspersky Antivirus

Here is an interesting conversation which came up on our IRC channel about running Kaspersky Antivirus alongside Quake 4 [quote] If you've bought a copy of Quake 4 and just by accident you've got Kaspersky Antivirus installed, then it will detect your lovely executable file as a virus. Some people have even problems running the game, as they receive the message that the original DVD is required, even if it is already inserted in the drive. so we'll keep you updated with new info on the subject.[/quote] There are people looking for a work around to this problem and we will keep you folks updated as were hear anymore information.
