GotFrag got a chance to sit down with teammates GaRpY and HELL, two of the contestants in the i30 Quake 4 tournament. Both men are undefeated heading into the final day of the tournament.
What are your thoughts of the first day at i30? United Kingdom Gareth "GaRpY" Marshall: Well the day started off great games actually started on time for once, unlike another competitions I have attended all of last year. A couple of technical problems but other than that its been a great day all round. Speaking of which, how has the event been in that area? Concerning scheduling, tournament computers, etc Well I must say Redeye being Redeye was very well organized with the tournament computers running great and no problems whatsoever :). The schedule is a bit spaced out and gives you time to chill and look around everything else that is going on at this event.

It was a real back and forth match, can you tell us a bit about how it went? Aaron-Anton "HELL" Jones: Well Galang was the first map which I expected to lose but I won it surprisingly, like 22-6. So going on to my map, Placebo, I expected to win but I didn't and lost 13-11. The final map was Phrantic which I won 24-9, so yeah, I'm happy about that.
