It seems that people hosting servers with the Q4Max 0.78 mod have been having some troubles lately with server crashes. The Q4Max mod team has said they are working on a fix for it as soon as they can and will be addressed in the final Quake 4 1.4 Point Release. For the time being though you disable the scorebot feed on the servers with g_feedscorebot 0 and it should fix the problem for now.
