Gauntlet

Gauntlet Mod by DC Doom

This is a single player mod which adds two additional weapons to your inventory. The gauntlet and a slug shooting shotgun.

Installation:
Unzip Q4Gauntlet.zip.
Place Gauntlet folder into your Quake4 directory, not the Quake4\q4base folder.
Start up Quake4.
Select the Mods tab.
Select Gauntlet from the list.
Start a game.

Uninstall:
Delete Gauntlet folder.

Notes*

The gauntlet's damage has been increased from 50 to 100.

The gauntlet is weapon 10 and the slug gun is weapon 11. They can only be selected by using the previous/next weapon buttons (the mouse wheel by default).

You are given the gauntlet and the slug gun as default weapons, but for some reason they don't always show up when you start a new game. In that case, bring down the console and type:
give weapon_gauntlet
give weapon_sluggun
