================================================================ Title : orbit Date : 2nd January 2006 Author : Tyrone "tB0nE" Hattingh Email Address : email@example.com Website : http://www.esreality.com Description : High paced tourney map for Q4 ================================================================ - Play Information - : Extract tbq4dm1_beta.pk4 from the zip into quake4/q4base folder. : Start a multiplayer game through the menu or find a server : running the map. - Level Information - Game type : 1v1, ffa Single Player : No Player load : 1v1, 2 - 4 Weapons : SG, GL, HB, SG, LG, RG, 2xRL. Stuff : 1xRA, 1xYA, 1xMH, 5xShards, 5xBonus health - Construction - Editors used : Quake 4 Utilities used : Vim, Photoshop CS - Notes - This is my first map for Quake since Quake 1, it has been made specifically for tournament play, hopefully playing something like q3tourney2. It is a beta so textures have not been aligned correctly on some parts of the map, and some performance enhancing things have not been done (vis portals, r_lightdetail 9 etc). Also "decoration" has not been completed like extra lights and curved doorways. However, the map is fully functional in a multiplayer sense so gameplay can now be tested. - Credits - : id Software for Quake, Quake 2, Quake 3, Quake 4, Doom3 http://www.idsoftware.com : Raven for Quake 4 : Rich "swelt" Jacques for phrantic, Bartek "Lukin" Garbiak for galang and the makers of q4dm5 and q4dm7, all of which I used for help. : The makers of these tutorials http://www.doom3world.org/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=3017 : My brother, Caleb "G4ge" Hattingh for gameplay feedback. - Copyright / Permissions - You may not include or distribute this map in any sort of commercial product without permission from the author.
