This test map mimicks the portal windows as seen in Human Head's yet to be released Prey video game. It ain't perfect, but it works pretty darn well.

Features: -Portal acts like a "window onto another world". -All regular projectiles can pass thru the portal (rockets, grenages, etc...). -Player and monsters can pass thru the portal. -Moveable objects can pass thru the portal. -Ragdolls can pass thru the portal. Bugs: -Hitscan projectiles do not pass thru (railgun, machinegun bullets, etc...). -Monsters are not "aware" of portal (or of you if you on the other side) . Additional ai code is needed to fix this. -There are some small visual artifacts (especially with particle effects). Other: -The portal window is created by placing two mirrors 1 unit apart and facing eachother. Not sure how this will function on all systems. -Some where on an outside wall in each room, a small regular portal sky brush must be used (can be a 1x1 brush). -This test map is not "plug and play". If you want to use this in your own map, prepair to do additional script work. -A fairly complicated map script is used.
