This is the real release of TJF as TJFv0.1 was a bit unstable with its bugs and all. TJF 
Is a Quake 4 modification which allows the player to turn gaming into an art form. You can now 
use the knock back of your weapons to pull of more than 3 tricks at a time. This release of 
TJF is not meant to be anything amazing just a better and bug free version of v0.1

Installation
======================
Unzip the contents of the zip file (including folders) into your “Quake 4” folder (usually 
located in “C:\Program Files\id Software\Quake 4”)

Mod usage
======================
Run Quake4.exe
When in the Quake 4 main menu click on “MODS” and in the new window select “TrickJumpersFriend 
v0.1” and then click on “LOAD MOD”. Once the Mod has loaded and you have been returned to 
the main menu click on “MULTIPLAYER” and click “CREATE SERVER”, select the settings you want 
and then start the server.

If you would like to start up the mod without having to go into Quake 4 to load it up create a shortcut to Quake4.exe and add
	
	+set fs_game TJFv1

to the end of the shortcut target (example "C:\Program Files\id Software\Quake 4\Quake4.exe" +set fs_game TJFv1).

FAQ's

Q: Were is the console?

A: Supplied with the mod is a tiny autoexec.cfg file which allows you to open the console using 
the key below your Esc button. If this file has been deleted or overwritten you can easily open the 
console by holding Ctrl + Alt + Tidle key. if you want to get the setting back to enable the console 
using only the tidle key open your autoexec.cfg file in notepad and enter 

	seta com_allowConsole "1" 

into a spare line and save the file.

Q: This dam warmup thing in MP is doing my head in. how do I make it go away?

A: The mod has no use for the warmup option so type 

	si_warmup 0

into the console and you should never see it again

Q: How do I record offline netdemos?

A: create a short cut to Quake4Ded.exe and add +set fs_game TJFv1 to the end of the shortcuts 
target (example "C:\Program Files\id Software\Quake 4\Quake4Ded.exe" +set fs_game TJFv1) now 
double click on the shortcut to start Quake4Ded.exe and type in to the console 

	si_map {desired mapname} (example si_map mp/q4dm1) 

and

	si_pure 0
 
once you have entered all the other settings you want type 

	spawnserver
 
into the console and press enter to run the server. now run Quake4.exe and type into the 
console drop down 

	connect 127.0.0.1

once the map has loaded up you will be able to record netdemos

Q: Why dose the screen go funny when I use the nail gun?

A: This is a problem which a few people have reported from TJFv0.1.
all I can say is I really don’t know whets going on with it but I have rewritten some of the 
Nailgun code for an attempted fix but have been unable to test it due to myself not having the 
problem. If you have this problem with TJFv1.0  please give me a simple report e-mail stating the 
problem (so I know) and including you system specs if its not to much bother. get me at 
t4ke@tjfriend.com 

Q: why has the mod got two options in the main menu that don’t work (DEMOS & SETTINGS/NOTHING)?

A: These options are in development at the moment and should be enabled in the next release of TJF.
sorry I didn’t finish them but I just wanted a version out that worked smoothly first before I start
adding loads of options which may be unstable.
