Oh boy, this is the news I've been waiting for - it appears that Red Dead Redemption 2 is finally coming to PC and sooner than we thought, with the release being announced by Rockstar Games as being on the 5th of November this year.
I've already played through the game once on PS4, but ever since completed it I've been staring longingly out of the window waiting for a PC version to be announced. The game has up until now been exclusive to consoles, but various clues have appeared over the past months that have hinted a PC version was in the works.
If you've never experienced Red Dead Redemption 2, you're in for a treat - it's probably one of the most immersive, emotional and detailed games I've ever played. Famously, it's attention to detail goes as far as having your horses testicles shrink in cold weather.
The game will be available through the Rockstar Games Launcher first, but is also on pre-order on the Epic Games and Humble stores. The game will be coming to Steam, but not until December unfortunately.
If the GTA V PC port is anything to go by, this should be a good release and hopefully will bring a few bits of additonal content. Of course, Red Dead Online will be coming along for the ride, and will see regular updates and support, with new bounty hunts and weapons already confirmed for the online mode.
