BSP2RTCW 0.4 January 2001 ------------ Created by [Win]Elchtest Check for Updates at http://www.quake.de and http://www.winclan.de This little tool helps you making your own RTCW maps. It changes something in your old Q3A Map, so you can load it in RTCW. How to use? ----------- It's just a simple ms-dos tool, you have to use it with bsp2rtcw [source] [target] for example: bsp2rtcw mymap.bsp mywolfmap.bsp Then just copy your new BSP file into RTCW\main\maps and load it with console command: \map mywolfmap *NEW* Undo function with -u How to use it under not Microsoft OS? ------------------------------------- If you Linux (maybe Mandrake 8.1) you could use the precompiled bsp2rtcw in the \bin directory, if you've downloaded the Unix/POSIX version of the tools. If that doesn't work, or if you don't have Linux, just compile the source in the \src directory, like gcc -o bsp2rtcw bsp2rtcw04 It should run under EVERY Posix compliant system, like: - Windows - DIGITAL Unix 4.0 - SUN Solaris - many Linuxes - SGI IRIX 6.2/6.4 - ... Legality & Rights ----------------- You are only allowed to use this tool with your custom maps!! If you destroy something with this tool, it's your business, not mine!
