If your looking for a different kind of skinpack from the norm, this one is for you. This skinpack replaces the Axis skins with skins from the GI Joe cartoon from the 80's. They are actually pretty good and would give a different feel to your game if you used them. If you only like skins that look like the same old boring axis skins or skins that dont have that "military" look to them, then this skinpack is NOT for you.

I grew up in the 80's and like every kid in North America I loved and watched Transformers and GI Joe.  With the advent of RTCW I thought to myself wouldn't it be cool to have GIJoe vs Cobra instead of the boring old Americans vs faceless Nazis?  Well since no one else has done so, I thought I would give it a try.

This pack only contains new models and skins for the Multiplayer Axis team.  The models used are of the single player Infantry SS troopers.  Each player type has his own unique skin, which are as follows;

Soldier:         Cobra Soldier (Viper)
Engineer:     Destro
Medic	Storm Shadow
LT	Cobra Commander

I tried to remain as faithful as possible to their cartoon counterparts, mind you this is my first time ever creating skins for anygame.  Along with the new skins/model are included;

Cobra CP Flag
Cobra Reinforcment Flag
Some new sounds and some other goodies :P

I originally wanted to include the Baroness instead of the Cobra Soldier, but I don't think there is a way to have more than one model type per team... too bad :(

1. Copy mp_skinz_cobra.pk3 file into your "x:\Program Files\Return to Castle Wolfenstein\Main" directory.  Where the "x" represents the drive letter where RTCW is installed.

2. Start up RTCW-MP and either search for a server hosting the same skin pack or create your own server.

1. Two errors pop up when using this skins pack;
WARNING: UNKNOWN GENERAL SHADER PARAMETER 'PICMIP2' IN 'models/players/infantryss/I_HEAD1'

WARNING: UNKNOWN GENERAL SHADER PARAMETER 'PICMIP2' IN 'models/players/infantryss/I_HEAD15_BLINK'

Honestly I don't know what they mean, it's probably some hidden info referenced within the model file.  If anyone knows how to fix this please e-mail me.  Regardless of these two warnings the game plays fine.  This is probably the reason why you might see team-mates with helmets stuck halfway in their heads, if your not on a server using this skin pack.

2. Some of the character animations are missing and I tried to make the best possible replacements available.  Once in awhile you'll see a dead player in a semi-crouching position, I tried to elimate this, but I just can't seem to figure out how?

3. If your playing as a Medic and you want to revive a team-mate duck and aim for the red floating arrow, even if the red floating arrow is not directly above the team-mate.
