This map is the first contribution by Hegel and isn't too bad for a begining. This map is alittle too linear though, so I'd like to see more paths in it if the manor gets a makeover. The outside of the manor is rather open and could use a bit of cover too. A nice touch though was the well and the first bit after it.
The scripting was great for a first time map maker too. I didn't find any mistakes with the sounds, lighting, textures, spawning, or doors. A small note to the maker, there is a small gap between the well wall and the ground. It doesn't affect the game play at all but you might want to change it anyway.
This map is by no means confusing but is still enjoyable. Expect to see some good things from Hegel in the future.

**NOTE** This map only works in MP and SW modes. CP is not supported (I hate Checkpoint :P). Installation: Unzip the mp_manor.pk3 file to the main subdirectory of your RtCW installation (for example, c:Program FilesReturn to Castle WolfensteinMain). Description: This is my first attempt at mapping. I've been playing FPS games since Wolfenstein3D (on a Laser 486/25, woohoo) but I never had the inclination to try mapping until RtCW. Now that I've seen how it works, all I can say is I have a lot of respect for people like Rummie and Fiesling who actually appear to know what the hell they're doing. Anyway, this is my humble contribution, and I hope you enjoy it. Don't forget to try sliding down the chimney ;). Overview: Axis forces in occupied France are attempting to steal a copy of the plans for a rumored Allied invasion. The plans are inside a rural manor, which has been converted into a secret safehouse by the Resistance. Objectives: 1. Destroy the underground Bunker Door. 2. Steal the Invasion Plans. 3. Transmit the Invasion Plans via the secret Radio Room. Construction: Base: None. Materials Used: GtkRadiant 1.2.4, EasyGen, Photoshop. Machine: Celeron 800 @ 1032MHz, 256MB SDRAM, GeForce2 GTS 32MB.
