File Description

This map is based upon the popular Counterstrike map "Dust". This is a team deathmatch/CP map.

Like the description says this is based on the popular Counter-Strike map Dust (de_dust). It is a very well balanced map if anyone has played the CS (Counter-Strike) version of this map. It consists of 6 Capture Points positioned in key places all over the map.

The textures of this map almost all fit together and fit the theme of a winter battle zone. Some textures seemed to over duplicate each other, or just not link up to the next one. The script was clean and no bugs. No additional sounds to map other then enemy and teammate gun fire. The dimensions of the map aren't an exact clone of the CS one but still looks good.

::::SUGGESTIONS:::: -Use custom textures to make some spots look better. -Put in a MP mode where Axis are trying to destroy some Allied supplies in the normal CS bomb spots.

Overall this map is a good recreation of the CS map "Dust" (de_dust). It has nice textures and good capture points.

MP_snow_final :

This map is based on the popular counterstrike map "Dust". Snow was built entirely from scratch but I've tried to stay as faithful to the original as possible.

I chose to create this map as an exercise in learning to build maps for RTCW, and also as an attempt to learnwhat elements make up a successful map.

I take no credit for the design of this map only it's construction.
