Huge guns! The Allies have to destroy the ammo stores in the island sea fortress and then escape in the captured M130 troop transport plane.
This is apparently the final release of this map. I decided to give it a run through. The objectives seemed fun. The axis has big guns, allies gotta destroy supplies. Simple enough. Yeah right...
While playing as the allies I was deposited on a ship. I had to swim to shore. I walked around a steep hillside and came upon a set of doors.
Upon entering I found what seemed to be a command center. Upon ascending to the upper level I was enchanted by a beautiful rendition of "Ave Maria". I decided to take leave of the music and crossed a nearby bridge.
When walking across this bridge I realized how big of a map this is. It would probably be good for at least ten players on each side.
Now when the description said "big guns", they meant it. These were huge! Big guns and big missiles. While I wasn't paying attention I fell into a room which contained one of the stock piles. Had I been an engineer I could have blown it up but as a lieutenant I was out of luck.
All around a pretty good map. There was some very beautiful scenery. Lots of different ways to attack makes for some fun gameplay. Well worth the download.
