File Description

Here's a kewl little script which lets you use 3rd person view to test your skins or have a nice posing pic.

I couldnt get it to run in mp but in sp it worked perfectly, though sp seems to be lacking the actual shooting animation for the player so I couldnt get a nice killing piccy :D

It's also very easy to switch this script on and off whenever you need it.

Sorta fun to play around with it aswell, I was surprised I managed to kill ppl in 3rd person, looks like max payne had taught me fell :)

Simply put it in your wolfeinstien/main and then follow either choice a) or b).

a) call it from the console when u r in the game (type \exec thirdperson.cfg)
b) put this following line in your wolfenstien\main autoexec.cfg to have it ready on a keypress.

bind kp_plus "exec thirdperson.cfg"

It doesnt load before you need it either, so theres no script hanging about in memory. Also not many of you will really use 3rd person, because u can only use it on a server that u or someone else has started with devmap <map> in the shortcut.

anyway, for those that need it, its pretty bombproof. All works off your keypad.

1...KP + (plus). This starts and stops it

2...KP 1-4 and 5-9 are 8 compass point views around 360 degrees

3...KP - (minus) Dodges by 22 degrees from whatever angle your on both left and right of the compass point chosen.

(E.g. if you choose KP4, the KP- will dodge the view 22 degrees either side of KP4 position)

4...KP 5 Centers you facing the model front at distance 50

5...KP Ins. Zoom view out. Several distances from 25 to 400 cycled

6....KP Del. Zoom view in. Several distances from 25 to 400 cycled

Thats it - Have fun :)
