Satisfactory has dropped another Early Access update this week that introduces nuclear energy to the intriguing factory building game. There's also new electric trains that can be used to transport around your factory much quicker than previously.
The new nuclear tier does give you a massive leap in capacity for your factories, roughly 150MW. Of course, much like real nuclear energy, there are downsides, and you'll need to deal with the nuclear waste that is produced, and it'll be entirely down to the player to decide how to handle it.
Of course, dispose of it incorrectly, and there will be consequences, as the waste is radioactive, as you'd expect.
The new trains also bring you some great advances, but they're not cheap to build, sadly. They will however allow you to move materials around your factory very quickly, so they're ideal for larger factories. You can build complex routes and branches to serve the various areas, too.
Other new features in the update include bauxite and aluminium materials, improvements to miners and conveyor belts, and new biomes that are specifically for the end game stages, including a swamp and bamboo fields.
The new update is now live, and you can check out the full update notes on the official site.
