Attention ALL Developers

This news item is aimed at ALL Developers of Maps, skins, Mods etc etc. Over the last couple of days I have received several e-mails from developers regarding wrong information contained in files that have been posted on the site. Developer: (wrong name) Homepage: (wrong url) e-mail info: (wrong e-mail address) Well this is how it works, when a file is downloaded from the web mail server, our file posters check the read me for information on the developer, name, e-mail, site info etc etc. The Developers info is then entered into our dev data base where it stays for future reference. When a Developer/Author sends in another file the info is selected from the data base and added to the uploaded file, easy yes :p Well you would of thought so, the problem is Developers/Authors change their info repeatedly as their Clan, website, e-mail info changes. So what we get then is incorrect information posted with a new file. Right this is where you Developers come in, if you have changed your details from the last time you submitted a file we need to know, so the Developers Database can be updated. Requests for this should be sent via e-mail to [email][email protected][/email] and I will update your information. Without confirmation via e-mail NO developers records will be updated under any circumstances. Our file posters will NOT update any info from your readme's, it is your responsibility to notify us of any changes. Thank you for your assistance in this request.
