As you all may know, we had to close our doors temporarily during the Christmas Holidays so we could do some major renovations. Well the renovations are complete and we have opened our doors again to the gaming community with pizzazz. We have been working on a new ladder system for over a year now, making new features via lessons learned in the past. The ladder system now allows the ladder admins and team captains to take control of the individual ladders. Thus making a more “Community” gaming atmosphere. Many, many features are rolled into this system making it like no other in the world. One of the top two features we have implemented is the fully integrated real-time master ban list provided by punksbusted.com and the Rules Change Request add-on. The master ban list has been incorporated into the ladder system to ensure that Clanwarz remains a cheat free community. So, when a team captain creates there team on the ladder system and enrolls all there teammates, they are required to enter there full PB Guid which is checked against the master ban list. Only the ladder admin and the team captains are allowed to view the PB Guids on the rosters. If the PB Guid is entered and found as a known cheat guid, well lets just say that, that player will not be allowed to play any Clanwarz hosted ladder matches. As for the Rules Change request add-on, the feature allows any team member to not only protest the rules stated in the ladder rules but protest them by section and then enter in what they think the rules should say. Once submitted all the team captains, co-captains and ladder admins of that ladder are emailed a link to the ladder system were they can review the request and vote on it.
