Arkanis has done it again. Arkanis has made a multiplayer mod that lets you play in 3rd person mode without the need to enable cheats on the server. If you like playing in 3rd person then give this a try :)
NOTE: This will not work with OSP, and in no way can it be used to cheat, or hack the regular SOF2.

The 3rd Mod is a very basic "mod" that replaces the old client enabled 3rd person mode with a server side cvar which can only be activated server-side by the admin/host. Basically this means the server can switch between regular SOF2 and third person SOF2 with a level restart, without the need for cheats. It is important that you keep the directory structure intact; otherwise the mod will not work. In WinZip, make sure the box "Use folder names" is ticked. Similar programs should also have this feature. On most machines your Soldier Of Fortune 2 directory should be located at: 'C:\Program Files\Soldier of Fortune II - Double Helix'. This assumes that the game is install on C drive, if your game is installed on another drive, such as D drive, then it would most likely be 'D:\Program Files\Soldier of Fortune II - Double Helix'.
