* history *

when i decided to make a 2e map this time for the 4e anneversary of the [DoW]clan.
i decided to keep a little dairy for those players who don't know how to map,
but still are interested how it works.
you can find this blog at the clansite, with screenshots in my image gallery explaining what i did.

i'm not a pro-mapper, but i know the most advanced stuff to make a map.
cause i'm the only mapper in the [DoW]clan, i had to figur out the most stuff myself.
that's why i thank some players that guided me with it.
and also a copple of forums i've been on.

last year i made a small map, and it was a good training for learning how to map.
the map was called maze1, and is never released except on our own server.
i got good comment from it, but i think for myself there are to many mistakes in it.
but because i lost the original mapfile, that won't be changed ever
so i just leave it that way.

i didn't have a clue how to name this map, but now that i'm making the pk3 file, i just call it dogarena.
cause the clan is in it's full name dogs of war, and the build up is a bit of an arena i think myself.
so that's where i got it from.

if you want to contact me, for a nice chat, some help or if you want the .map file for a remake.
just add me to your msn or e-mail me.
