This file reads the server log file and outputs the info into a text file. On each line is a player name, IP, and GUID. This is very helpful because you can find out exactly who is who in the banlist.
This the Local version is for a locally hosted game (or a .log file that has been copied down). It has 3 buttons. One to bring up a dialog to select the log file and then create the GUID file(Version 1.0.1:GUID File is displayed in the program), the second button to display the GUID file (saved in the directory that the program is in). (Version 1.0.1 The third button brings up a dialog to launch your banlist.)
Version 1.0.1 This program is to be used on a locally hosted Soldier of Fortune II game (or if you copy down a .log file. What it does is extracts data from the log-file and outputs player names, GUIDs, and IP addresses to a text file and menu in the program. This is helpful for server admins to know who's who in their banlist (matching GUIDs or IPs with a name). There's also a button to view your log file (select where). To Install simply place GUIDGrabber(Local).exe anywhere you'd like. You must also place the included .dlls and .tlb in your Windows/System32 directory When you launch, and click "Create GUID File" you will be prompted to tell the program where your .log file is. After you select the .log, the GUID File will be created. Click "View GUID File" to look at it. Click view banlist to select your banlist, look at it, and then you can easily remove people. The way it is arranged is the player name, followed by the GUID, followed by the IP address. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to Email me at SFCViper@comcast.net By [HH] |/iper
