THIS IS A MULTIPLAYER MOD , CLIENT AND SERVER VERSION O.M.E: objective mission editor I add new functionalities to SpecOps, we can use maps from single player game in mp game. OME is integrated to SpecOps, and you can customize solo maps or mp maps without having map source. You can modify position of flag ,escape zone, briefcase position etc... You can add a new gametype not supported to a map. You can add new objects like mine ( mine field)

JEEL SpecOps 3.0 

in progress work :

O.M.E: objective mission editor
I add new functionalities to SpecOps, we can use maps from single player game in mp game.
OME is integrated to SpecOps, and you can customize solo maps or mp maps without having map source.
You can modify position of flag ,escape zone, briefcase position etc...

WAR BUG SYSTEM:
Like in real situation , they are thing you think, but they are thing you do !
And you not alway do what you think ... cause you can not do it ...
Some imprevisible actions appear in game ... weapon swapping,  weapon droping, panic, fall ...
weapon jamming ... and more stupid actions that can reverse a situation...
A lot of &quot;surprise&quot; to add incertitude, and realism. 
Manage your energy, do not overload your heart ...

LADDER:
When you climb on ladder , you can not use your primary weapon ,you need your two hands to use it...
But you can use pistol or knife or grenade on ladder.

JUMPING:
Be carefull , jumping from to high plateform, you can lose your equipement , health or life...

LASER TARGET DESIGNATOR:
We can see only the red spot, not the line ( removed) 
Red laser spot is computed in real time , and do not disapear when you jump.
You can designate people , or objects , but not ground and water ...
All rifle can use the laser target designator ( first view, external view, and scope view)
In modern weapon like OICW or HKG36 , when using laser, distance to the target appears in scope.

Tools to configurate available weapons in Specops 3.0 server:
Click twice on *.swf , or drag and drop it in your internet explorer.


SpecOps Server : 
Use integrated browser to find server.
SPECOPS RUNS FINE ON LINUX , NT , and Mac OSX...


Weapons:
Dynamy Acuracy system enhanced, try different position and movement , you'll see the difference.
You are not playing SOF2 ... This is SpecOps, and like in real, targeting and aiming is difficult.
Take care, your are not in a movie.

PRONE: 
After a long period of work, i add prone functionnality, in an older version , i did a tentative, but not satisfact because animation were so bad.
Now with my new animation system, prone is very fun , and transform really the gameplay. 

CUSTOM MAPS: 
Objective Mission Editor is not release in this version , but the runtime is present in game..
We can use map from SINGLE player game, or CUSTOMIZE map without source file.
Use static mine field, on map, dynamic mine ( claymore in progress).
Some examples are in OME folder, at this time, ome file can be downloaded on my web.
If you want a custom map , mail me , and i'll put a link on my web.
Editor is a complex program, and I need more time to release a good version.

AIMING: 
Modify running parameters, your speed interact dramaticaly on your acuracy now.
Specops is not an arcade game, but trying to become a combat simulator ...
Best aiming is prone position( not yet , soon), 
after is ducking position, 
after is stand position,
after is stand position and walking,
after stand position and running,
and finaly if you jump no chance ... to shoot your target !


PISTOL and RIFLE: 
2D ironsight system to simulate aiming with ironsight, is replace by 3D Gunview system 
more difficult to shoot, but more realistic ! This functionality replace gun wip.

RIFLE: 
Use 3D Gunview system, change position of your gun in subjective view , 4 positions.
Each weapon is different from other , find your best position to aim.

M60:
This weapon has also an iron sight for more acurate firing (alt weapon)
The acuracy is realistic now, M60 is not a gadget, but a deadly weapon like in military squad.

WEAPON SELECTION:
Weapons and equipement are selected now with new slots like in selection menu:
slot 1 = primary weapon ( cycle on multiple weapons)
slot 2 = secondary weapon( cycle on multiple weapons)
slot 3 = side arms ( cycle on multiple pistols)
slot 4 = grenade ( use grenade)
slot 5 = equipement (use equipement)
slot 6 = knike ( cycle on multiple weapons)

PARAMETERS : 
Adjust weapons parameters 
Weapon range adjusted to practical range and not theorical range , range is shorter now.

CROSSHAIR: 
A lot of people seems to be lost without crosshair ... they are removed in Specops.
TRY to play without ... it is better... our use laser target designator.
Only the dot subsist for crosshair nostalgic people.

LASER TARGET DESIGNATOR:
To replace progressively the crosshair ...
Socom SD has a laser. Good accuracy , for short range.

Other pistol use an ironsight in alternate weapon, not laser.

ANIMATION:
Work on player animation , you can move normaly now when you are leaning. try it !
Now i use animation from single player for SpecOps. 
Player breath, run, swim , walk, climb ladder ...discover them!


THERMAL: 
reduce the in deep sight, and the range of thermal goggles.
Sniper rifle can use thermal vision to snipe (m40,m82,msg)
OICW can snipe in thermal mode, but not in night vision mode.
OICW is always equiped with thermal vision.
Pistols can be used with thermal
M60 can be used with thermal


NIGHT VISION : 
automatic weapon can snipe with night vision only ( m4,AK,Sig,hkG3,mp5)
all other weapon can be used with night vision goggles.

TOXIC GAZ: 
Toxic gaz is used by MM1
M15 yellow smoke , take care it is toxic when you use it , but effect decrease quickly. 

GRENADE :
adjust timer to 3 seconds on attack button , NO alternate attack

GRENADE LAUNCHER : 
M4M203 and AK74 GP30 are REMOVED in game.

AMMO : 
increase ammount of ammo, players wants more ammo, more ammo ...

SKINS: 
civilian skins replaced with a modified package from Fire Starter (cool_zero) RavenShield skin.
Thank you Fire Starter for your collaboration.

SCOPE:
new scope to replace &quot;big&quot; red spot...

SERVER TOOL:

AVAILABLE ITEMS:
New cvar, g_availableitems, is use to control usage of Night Vision, Thermal, GazMask during game.


STUPID BOTS:
Work on stupid bots, more agressive and faster, they can prone also, be carefull.
They need bot route to be operational, do not forget that please.


Beta test:
Specops 3.0 was tested on &quot;THE CROW&quot; MAYHEM server ... and it was fine and fun ! 

IMPORTANT :
For installation , delete completly your old version of SpecOps, 
Do not install over your old version,
Do not add external pk3 , this is cause of bugs !
This mod must be install in JEEL directory , not BASE directory , not MP directory.
Do not modify parameters in batch file to run Specops ( else bugs !!!).
