THIS IS A MULTIPLAYER MOD , CLIENT AND SERVER VERSION

JEEL SpecOps 2.1 , JULY 2003

Some News from the frontline:

This is a work in progress version, a lot of works are not yet finish, but it's summer
break, and I release because, this version is good for net games.


Weapons:
New 3d model for AK47,MP5,M4 .We have a scope in first view , yes it's true ! 
Sigg551 and HKG3 have a "ironsight" in alternate weapon view. 
Some weapons (M4, MP5SD,Talon, HK3G3) have new sound resampled. 
Some shader for skin weapons modified (minor change), I like green for rifle (oicw,msg,sig) 
US SOCOM with flashlight (model ready, flashlight code to do) 
US SOCOM with laser and silencer (model ready,laser code in beta,you can use it, 
it is not completly finish but it aims very well). 
The Socom SD have laser beam on/off in replacement of alt weapon 
(generaly right mouse button).When code will be complete , if users want laser beam
on rifle ... we'll see that ... 
Modified  M15 grenade, original smoke on primary attack and Toxic gaz on secondary,
only the gaz mask can protects you against toxic gaz. (be careful)
Return of MM1 grenade launcher , but with toxic gaz grenade only. 
RPD removed ( 3d model and anim to redo)

RADIO: idea based on an anomymous post... thank you X
I have implemented 3 radio systems, based on Rainbow Series messages
	original base radio system from Raven , 
	French radio message from Rainbow,  (my voice !)
	English radio message from Rainbow 
	Spanish radio message text from Rainbow (my voice ! )
	Russian radio messages in preparation ( need help ...)
	I make radio message with my voice, so please do not use them for your usage.
A new variable now for this ui_radioMenu_lang , change it with menu in chat sub group.
Cannot be changed during game, set it before launch.
Values are :
fr for french, 
en for english,
sp for spanish, 
ru for russian ( not active yet)
or nothing standard radio messages of your game.


Gameplay:
Well I work on ,animation, bolton, add and remove elements on animated model.
Add more animation when player is killed  ... more fun !
Two hands animation with pistol, that's to prepare 2xhandgun !
Add three buttons for camera position, now we have 4 cameras positions, (North South West East )...
Only two crosshair :
	 I am a SpecOps ( nothing) , 
	 I need training ( a dot !) 
	 ... that is all ...
Adjust weapons parameters , because all weapons are primary except the GLOICW.

Radar : In real world ,radar is made to show you, movement around you, not to say you who is
around you. Identification is relayed to Friend or Foe system identification and in
Specops,we have only movement detection. Consequence,radar is now a threat detector, and you
"see" all players around you,but not the team color. The range is now relative to sound
emmited with foot steps , not a long range ...

New Items:
But, to balance this ,now we have night vision enhanced (better visibility), and new thermal
vision system. Now (like in real world), if a wall is not too thick, we can detect heat
behind the wall. That means that in SpecOps, we can "see" through the wall (like Predator or
Splinter Cell,or like US Immigration on frontier !) An other new beta version item, the gas
mask, not just a bolton on skin , an item you can put on, or remove when you need.Yes usage
of toxic gaz in future gametype ... New hud to reduce visibility when use gas mask. The gaz
mask protects you against usage of M15 Toxic in combat. Code for Toxic indicator not yet
active ... it will be ready with new gametype

Net Game:
Yes ,this time, I add a net filter , to find server running the mods of your choice.
Filter is active on: 
SOF2, Jeel SpecOps, Mandown, Goldrush, ICS, X-mod, OSP,Full Metal Rocket,Jihad, Phoenix
					

Maps and new Gametype:
Well to prepare my Ghost Recon mod, I am testing on a new gametype, with more items, more
objectives ... Specifics maps are in preparation .with other modders .. stay tune... Beta
version based on dust 2 in collaboration with DADOT team, can be released on demand ( ask by
mail).

IMPORTANT :
For installation , delete completly your old version, 
Do not install over your old version,
Do not add external pk3 , this is cause of bugs !
This mod must be install in JEEL directory , not BASE directory , not MP directory.
Do not modify parameters in batch file to run Specops ( else bugs !!!).

All known bugs are resolved ( in paradise bugs!) , 
you can drop your weapon, and flag does not disappear in cft ( fucking raven code, sorry )

NOTE:  JEEL SPECOPS IS NOT ONLY A 3RD VIEW PLAYER GAME, YOU PLAY FIRST OT THIRD WIEW WHEN
	   YOU WANT. JUST SWITCH WITH ALT KEY, OR UP ARROW KEY, DOWN ARROW KEY TO RESET VIEW,
	   LEFT AND RIGHT TO ROTATE VIEW YOU CAN DO THAT SINCE THE FIRST VERSION !

AT THE BEGINNING:

I play a lot of time with Ghost Recon , it's a good game, but not enought fun ... SOF2 is
good 3D engine , but the game is not realistic , less than Ghost recon. Well I decide to
write (code ...) a mod based on SOF 3D engine,with more realistics parameters. 
let's go ,code and play ... JEEL
