You thought High wire was high? You have just got to try this map out. The map is a small/medium sized DM map with the sniper very much in mind. There are plenty of places to hide and explore, you have access to all the roof tops and loads of small corridors for you to gain access to very good sniper points. Vertigo 2 is primarily a sniper map but all weapons types are supported in DM and its still a long, long, long way down !! The map supports dm, tdm, elim,inf, ctf, dem. A good all round map and well worth a download, go get it now and see for yourself, will do very well on custom servers :thumbsup:
Vertigo 2 - Urban Renewal by Warlord After being asked repeatedly if there was going to be another updated version of Vertigo I decided to instruct my City Manager to float a bond issue and do some "urban Renewal" As you can see, some of the construction is not quite finished yet but we decided to let you come visit anyway. Welcome to Vertigo 2. Some of the buildings are higher, you can get on all the rooftops and there are more places to play and more places to snipe from inside some of the buildings. I made them that way to slow you down and make it a little more challanging. I also tried to hide ramps and climbing points a little better to make it more interesting. I also added the demolition gametype to this map. The included screenshots will give you a hint as to where the briefcase and briefcase capture points are in the infiltration gametype. The interior passages and rooms were not constructed with any attempt at detail but more for good aiming points. When someone camps in a building you pretty much have to go get them, it will be difficult to get them from below or even from ajoining buildings if they are carefull. There are a bunch more ways to climb up the buildings and every roof is accessable in this version. For CTF play there are a number of ways to reach the flags now to make that gametype a little more interesting. Just like the first version I have tried to give the illusion of more detail than is really there to make it more playable on lower powered PC's.
