This gore mod can only truly be enjoyed with a high end machine, with high ram, and a quality visual card. This is mainly because the number of gore peices have been increased so much, low end computers will (Ive tested it on my old Pentium2 computer) not show up, or disapear very quickly. FILE NAME - ZZZZGore_weapon_inview_gravity_MATRIXmodv.2.5 INSTALLATION Simple put this file into the usual directory which is normally c:\program Files\Soldier Of Fortune 2\base The file is correctly lablled, so you dont need to rename. The best way to use this mod with all special features enabled is to (especially if you want the MATRIX feature enabled) open the console and load a map. eg. MAP PRA2. (PRA2 skips the crap introduction at the begining of the game. Maps AIR 1 and 2 are also good testing grounds for this mod. So load one to play with the mod a bit. Notice your shells and bullet casings flying all over the place, and in a wide open landscape, watch gore peices fly to the sky! Watch blood float up there. Sadly, I couldnt get to change jump config, but I always unclip anyway. MATRIX Yep. With the config file installed, you may realise the your keyboard settings have changed. They are at the orginal settings with a few changes to make cheating easier and the enable the MATRIX mode! Press F at any time for the action the slow down, now shoot your M4. (applies to all weapons, M4 is just an example) Your M4 still fires at original speed spitting bullet very quickly, while enemies move half their speed! Aiming is easier and you can watch gore in slow motion! Press V to return to normal. You can press T for a slower setting, but this has a tendancy to stop rather than slow down action. Stay with F. Other buttons are used to enable instant cheating without the console system! Press G for giveall cheat, Z for Godmode, H for noclip. K, M, and L are used to SPAWN. K is for civilian, L, for Sam, and M for a promethueus soldier. These can be changed using the Bind command in the console window. CAMERA SHAKE Hate the thing...so Ive turned it off in some places...I cant remember which ones though...sorry! An exmaple I do know though, is with the MM1. The explosions do not cause camera shake. No weapons shake either. How? Making modifications to the EFX files, and the IMPACT files. Changing the SOF2.gore file didnt make enough changes, and didnt allow for changes in animations. This was usful for someone like me who finds it immensly confusing to make a weapon skin or a new gore graphic. For those budding SOF2 moding people out there...open these files with NotePad and take a look.... Examples? -Blow someone up! From downloading other gore mods, without mentioning names...cuz that would be disrespectful and unfair!...there have been the same number of gore peices flying around, and their size has been increased, which results in poor image quality. This mod keeps the gore peices (i.e stomach, lung, gore chunk e.t.c.) at the original size, but with a hell of a lot more of them! Blowing someone up now results in an array of a total of 250 peices flying around! (although you may not see them all, youll probably see 100 or 50, better than 2 or 3 though! high end machines show every peice!) -Head shots! Blow someones head off with the USAS shotgun and laugh like a fool! I did! This is a Mortal kombat style death! Blood gushes in a thick line reaching the ceiling splatting everywhere! Small gore peices (almost invisiable some of them) land randomly creating a fantastic scene! Extras? Ive worked on this a while...you didnt think Id just include a gore mod...Ive also included a new keyboard setup, inview mod, weapons mod, but also something unique! An animation weapon mod test! The changes to weapons have been made below. Knife - Speed and distance. Knives can be thrown so fast that its in a straight line, no more angle guessing! Great for that stealth kill! US SOCOM - Using the Inview file, the view has been changed. (WARNING....Must use crosshair to aim properly, I could never get it perfect. Just so you know.) USAS-12 - Speed has been dramatically increased to reduce or stop reloading ever. The spread has been increased along with ammo and view. Dont forget to watch the shells fly about! Also, notice how EVERY shot shows up without making the enemy dissapear. M590 - Completley different! Inspired from residant evil series, comes the explosive shell shotgun! UZI - Speed and ammo increase. M3A1 - Speed and ammo increase. M4- Speed and ammo increase. Nade launcher speed increased to stop angle guessing. Impact instant! Animation swaps allow for bigger explosions! AK47- Inspired from MGS2, perfect accuacy, speed and ammo increase. OICW- PROBLEM- Zooming in is possible, but a pain! the animation has been increased so causes problems, but still good as a standard rifle. Speed increase, and ammo. MSG90A1- So 40x zoom was good....but what about 100x! Now its possible! Speed increase allows for fast sniping whilst in zoom mode. M60- MiniGun speed! But so fast the sound has been knocked out...youll get used to it, I did. Accuarcy remains the same, as its so fast, accuracy doesnt matter! speed and ammo increase. MM1- Fast revolving technology allows grenades to be fired straight and quickly. Will angle when fired at extreme ranges. speed and ammo increase. RPG7- speed and ammo increase. Use in slow motion to watch the missle before it colides and kills your enemy! Incendry Nade- This nade has undergone a test animation, BIG FLAMES! Nades- All have been increased ammo and speed, however are dropped not thrown, to add a new tactical element. Good in slow motion, you can throw about 10 before they explode, run away and watch the carnage! All have views changed in some way. All have speed and ammo increase excpet for the SOCOM. Some emmit the M60 smoke animation for more realism. Finally. Enclosed are some screen shots, rare images, like the headless soldier! Also, This is a FREE/SHAREWARE MOD. This may be spread to other people, sites e.t.c., but not to be used to make money out off, or edited without my permission.
