KhÃðS made a nice smal skin called Firegod!
The skins has wings. For the players who don't like wings (as the demonwings bolt-on can be shot at and cause damage) KhÃðS also explains how to get rid of those wings ;)
Have fun with it!
========================================== = ReadMe file for FireGod SoF Skin = ========================================== FireGod by KhÃðS ([email protected]) This skin was inspired by the Mortal Kombat skins, and my fondness of the colour orange! Special thanks to http://www.soffiles.com for all the skins, downloads etc which helped me understand skinning. Thanks also to SkinLab. (wherever you guys are now! 8.> ) If you have any problems regarding installation of this, or any of my skins, feel free to email me. And please don't ask stooopid questions........ I take NO RESPONSIBILITY if this skin destroys, melts or fucks up your PC - there should be no malicious code or virus anywhere in this ZIP. Always scan ANYTHING you download from ANY website, to be 100% sure. Now go brush your teeth........ ******************************************************************* INSTALATION INSTRUCTIONS ------------------------ First off, extract the ZIP file into a familair folder (My Documents, for example). There should now be a folder firegod_skin, which will contain all the skin files in different folders. Now, drop+drag all files from the folders in the firegod_skin folder into the appropriate folders found in the C:/Program Files Raven/SOF folder (or wherever you installed SoF to during installation). In other words, put all the files within the folders in the firegod folder into the same folders in the Raven/SOF folder. Make sure you put the correct file in the correct folder in your RAVEN directory. Once you've done that, you can delete the empty firegod folder in My Documents or wherever it was extracted to (since it's now empty ;) ). Now check to see if you have a file in the Raven/SOF/user/GHOUL/pmodels folder (where you should have placed FireGod.gpm) called "everybody".......... ----------- If YES : open up the updategpl program in this folder (little computer icon) and select FireGod from the found GPM's list (right), then <==ADD. This adds the FireGod.gpm to the list of skins on your PC.(If you still do not understand how to use this program, see the updategpl_readme file that comes with it. If NO : Use the everybody.gpm enclosed in the ZIP file. Please keep this as you must have an "everybody" file to use your skins online. If you open this, you will see a list of other characters in SoF (Dekker, gimp etc etc), plus, near the bottom, some others you won't recognise as these are skins on my system, but you can leave them as they are. There should be the name FireGod near the bottom; if not, follow the same procedure as above in YES. ------------ Now, with all the files in the right folders, and FireGod added to the "everybody" file, the skin should be successfully installed on your system! Now go start Soldier of Fortune and see. ------------------------------- PLEASE NOTE : WHEN CONNECTING TO A SERVER ON sof, THE PERSON HOSTING THE SERVER MUST HAVE THE SKIN YOU WISH TO USE INSTALLED ON THEIR SYSTEM TOO - IF NOT, YOU WILL BE, BY DEFAULT, GIVEN THE SKIN DEKKER. THIS IS NOT MY FAULT, IT APPLIES TO ALL SKINS EVER MADE FOR sof.
