Never, consoles are here to kill creative gaming, please, everyone who can stop it, or at least delay, do not let it happen. Consoles are here just for profit. For nothing else. And any game can be bug-free given enough time for developers to test it, and enough support from community to point them what they've foreseen. It is also a matter of patience and understanding, as much as work, if not more.

I want them to fix everything they already made first!!!

Yeah consoles destroy the quality of games coz the developers have to lower bar for graphics and content so the console will be able to render the game without lag. Just a useless gaming platform when compared to PC. Keep STALKER on PC (and Crysis to any Crytek guys out there:))

Sadly, but true, quantity never meant quality. If you do not believe me, look at the... history of medicine, technology, art, culture, religion, whatever. And so it is for the games... quality - of any kind - was always related to a (relatively) small group of true individuals with a vivid consciousness, strong will and a clear idea what should be done. And which do respected and listened to each other. Correct me if I am wrong...

i'm still hoping on a mmorpg stalker universe type of gaming...
i mean... lets say the zone expanded and consumed a good part of europe?
ey ey?!> a good idea?
but i would want it to be on a better engine and wanted it fully tested and hopefully
no monthly payments for online.

There's no reason not to bring it out on consoles,
because a lot of people can't afford NASA computers to play the game with alright graphics,
so for a lot of people a console STALKER would be awesome!

To the comment above:
You don't need a NASA computer to run stalker
A decent 700$ computer can run SoC maxed and a tuned comp can run even clear sky on DX10 without problems.
Glad consoles turned the majority of gamers into ignorant rodents who are scared to get a PC.
MMORPG stalker........LOL yeah right....

I must say, being both a PC and console gamer, I'd like to see STALKER come to consoles.
It would get rid of a crapload of the annoying crashes and incompatibility issues, and it would expand the fan base.
I really see nothing bad coming from a console release.
|#12 - It depends of what consoles will beame in the years to come - Posted by: ahilej (Member) on 10-21-2008 at 14:00|
It depends of what consoles will became in the years to come. If... in my imagination, consoles get keyboards, ability to surf the Web via cable or Wireless network, ability to record TV shows and to upgrade OS's (yes-consoles also have an OS) then... I will think upon this again. Until that, no. Any user willing to spent 15 (fiveteen) minutes daily learning about his (or her) PC and Windows, can set it up to run smoothly, crash-free, and capable to run any game. If it is not everything-onboard-PC-intended-for-office-use-only, of course. And this is creativity as well.

I have a PC, and can run STALKER on Objects Dynamic Lighting,
I also have a PS3, and It'd be nice to play it on the PS3, so I can finally play with all the amazing effects,
so once again,
there would be no real reason not to bring it out

No. This is a single player game (mostly). Only multiplayer games are fun on consoles, 'cause then you can play them with a bunch of friends and have fun. Singleplayer games on the consoles only remind me of how much more fun it is to play the same game on the PC.
