A mod adding 19 new weapons, 16 new ammo types and lots of general fun and fixes to the AMK EN mod. Optional addons include weapon randomization for NPCs, for both an increase in immersion and necessity of good tactical decisions when facing enemies. Those bandits you're going after might only have pistols, or one of them might be hauling around an AK-47 or MAC-10. Mercs could have regular ammo, or they might have AP rounds that'll tear through your armor like it's cheesecloth. Of course this also increases the odds that you may pick up some neat new gear from them...
AMK Arsenal Version 1.0 release for AMK 1.4 EN 2.0.94 Requires: 1.0004 Version of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. ONLY AMK 1.4 EN 2.0.94, no other mods. Other AMK-compatible mods which affect any files in gamedata may cease working, crash your game or corrupt savefiles. You use this mod in the understanding that I am not responsible for any damage to your game, computer, home, place of business or mental well-being. However AMK-EN_Weather_by_NightVz_0.99 does not conflict at all and is safe to use, as is S.H.A.R.P.E.R-Textures.v.0.95 and Sky4CE -=SkyGRAPHICS=- MOD v1.78. Features: Nineteen new weapons - .357 Magnum Desert Eagle, BM16 Standard shotgun, Saiga12c, Modified Saiga12c, FN P90, OTS-33 Pernach, HK MP7A3, TOZ-34 sawn-off, Benelli sawn-off, PP-19 Bizon 9mm Makarov, PP-19 Bizon 9x19mm, Kriss Super V, HK MP5K, MAC-10 9mm, MAC-10 .45 ACP, Mosin Nagant 1891, scoped Mosin Nagant 1891, TMP and AK-47. The BM16 Standard has also been positioned better in the hud so you can't see inside the arms. The vanilla AK-74SU hud model and sounds have been traded out for KingFriday's model and sounds. The AK-47 is using Sickn3ss' realistic texture. The 9mm and .45 ACP MAC-10s have the appropriate markings on their recievers. The suppressor for the MAC-10s and the MP7A3 have been reskinned by me. The AK-74, Abakan and Groza are all using Millenia's skins. The SPAS-12 and USP are using Siro's skins with my bumpmaps. The LR300 has been replaced with the upgraded hud and world model with my fixed bumpmaps. Two original weapons reworked - The original Desert Eagles have been renamed, have new written information, have slightly altered stats, new firing sounds and are now rechambered for their proper calibers (.44 Magnum and .50 Action Express). The ammo found with the former "Big Ben" pistol in Wild Territory is now of the right caliber. Sixteen new ammo types - 9x19mm Hydra-Shok, .357 Magnum Hollowpoint, .357 Magnum Hydra-Shok, .357 Magnum Frangible, .44 Magnum Hollowpoint, .44 Magnum Hydra-Shok, .44 Magnum Frangible, .50 AE Hollowpoint, .50 AE Hydra-Shok, .50 AE Frangible, 12 gauge Hydra-Shok, 12 gauge SCIMTR, 4x30mm HK, 4x30mm HK HV, 7.62x39mm ball, 7.62x39mm AP, 7.62x54mm SP, 5.7x28mm SS190 and 5.7x28mm SS198. Almost all new ammo types have their own ammo boxes, still need to make new inventory icons for the 5.7x28mm SS190 and 5.7x28mm SS198. Varied wallmarks - weapons now leave different sized marks on surfaces according to their caliber/power New weapon descriptions - All new weapons and some original ones have reworked inventory descriptions using silverpower's format and incorporation silverpower's descriptions with my own. No more having to scroll down to find out the capabilities of your new toy; caliber, ammo types available, available upgrades, built-in modifications and ammo capacity are all listed right at the top. Level weapon replacement - Finally got this one working. The AK74U in Strelok's Agroprom Underground hideout has now been swapped out with the Modified Saiga12c. PLR's accuracy and damage values - weapons now behave a bit more like they should. Damage, range, speed, accuracy and impact values have been adjusted to get closer to realistic than the vanilla settings. Shotguns no longer behave like sniper rifles while shooting buckshot while being inexplicably inaccurate with slugs and darts. Repair kits! - Now if your favorite gun is so messed up it might as well be a paperweight, you won't have to slog all the way back to the Bar to get it working again. Buy some from a trader or loot them from the dead (they don't need them as much as you do). To use, figure out which gun you want to fix, equip it, unequip other guns and armor and either double-click the repair kit in your inventory or right-click it and click on "use". Sometimes works on armor too, but I haven't puzzled out exactly how to get it more consistent in repairing armor. BAC9-FLCL's Cinematic Marked One Face - Marked One's face and PDA icon now look more like the guy in the cutscenes. Gosuke's SPAS-12 and TOZ-34 with fixed smoothing - self explanatory, now Marked One doesn't look like his hands are made of Legos when he uses these guns Gosuke's P90 and PKM - also self explanatory. Gosuke's P90 is the default but if you like the Zenobian one better, it's also included. Just rename the w_p90.ltx to w_p90default.ltx and the w_p90Zenobian.ltx to w_p90.ltx. Remember that if you make the change after beginning a game, the world model P90's origins will be all screwed up, so make your choice before starting a new game. Reduced armor damage - Body armor now degrades more slowly. You'll need it. All new weapons and ammo have been incorporated into mp_ranks.ltx, to prevent one of the more annoying causes of game crashes. They've also been incorporated into the news data, to prevent log spam. I've also done some general spelling and grammar correction in the news section so there's no more "I saw some stalker I have killed a bandit" and suchlike. There's a few other little bits I've changed here and there, nothing major, if you pay close attention you may notice some strange and possibly disturbing things as well as some gifts I've left for you... Instructions: Unzip this archive into your S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadow of Chernobyl folder. Okay any overwrites of existing files. Start a new game. You MUST start a new game for all changes to take effect. -----Optional Modules--------- Randomized Weapons for AMK - Using Lucian's work for Oblivion Lost as a jumping off point, I've been working on making the weapon selections for all NPCs more random. So far I've only got Cordon, Garbage, Agroprom, Bar, Dark Valley and Army Warehouses completely done. To use, open the "Randomized Weapons for AMK/gamedata" folder and copy the "config" folder in it to your S.T.A.L.K.E.R. gamedata folder. As with the main AMK Arsenal mod, this also requires a new game to take effect. Recommended for the full AMK Arsenal experience since without it the only time you'll see new guns is when you go to the traders. Firelake's "Dirge for the Planet" main menu music for AMK - Surprised no one's done this yet. Open the "Firelake Menu Music for AMK/gamedata" folder and copy the "sounds" folder to your S.T.A.L.K.E.R. gamedata folder. It will also create a folder in gamedata/sound/music called "backup music" which contains the original music files from AMK. AMK Arsenal main menu screen - spiffy neato keen main menu graphic for the AMK Arsenal Mod. Open the "AMK Arsenal Main Menu/gamedata" folder and copy the "textures" folder to your S.T.A.L.K.E.R. gamedata folder. High resolution Desert Eagle Skin - optional but you'll probably like it over the default skin. Open the included archive and follow the readme instructions. Controller zombification re-enable - Some people have reported experiencing crashes and and lockups due to Controllers' zombification ability, also NPCs will inexplicably change weapon loadout when they're zombified if you're using the Randomized Weapons for AMK module. So, the default in AMK Arsenal is no zombification. But, if you want it back, open the "controller zombification/gamedata" folder and copy the "config" folder to your S.T.A.L.K.E.R. gamedata folder. Just remember you do so at your own risk. Included is a way to reset AMK Arsenal's Controllers back to default; just open the "no controller zombification/gamedata" folder and copy the "config" folder to your S.T.A.L.K.E.R. gamedata folder. Plans for the future: More weapons. Lots more weapons. Integration of more weapons from the Arsenal mod. Expand and refine weapon randomization to include all NPCs. Refine icons for 12 Gauge Hydra-Shok and 12 Gauge SCIMTR to match their in-game boxes More unique/unusual weapons. More new ammo types Possibly a spiffy installer like AMK-EN has Figure out who the heck made a bunch of the new models and skins I'm using so they can be properly credited Changes since alpha1: Added FN P90, .357 Magnum Desert Eagle, OTS-33 Pernach, HK MP7A3, TOZ-34 sawn-off, Benelli sawn-off, PP-19 Bizon 9mm Makarov, PP-19 Bizon 9x19mm, Kriss Super V, HK MP5K, MAC-10 9mm, MAC-10 .45 ACP, Mosin Nagant 1891, scoped Mosin Nagant 1891, TMP and AK-47 Added 9x19mm Hydra-Shok, .357 Magnum Hollowpoint, .357 Magnum Hydra-Shok, .357 Magnum Frangible, .44 Magnum Hollowpoint, .44 Magnum Hydra-Shok, .44 Magnum Frangible, .50 AE Hollowpoint, .50 AE Hydra-Shok, .50 AE Frangible, 12 gauge Hydra-Shok, 12 gauge SCIMTR, 4x30mm HK, 4x30mm HK HV, 7.62x39mm ball, 7.62x39mm AP, 7.62x54mm SP, 5.7x28mm SS190 and 5.7x28mm SS198.
