To my annoyance I found that after playing CS through a few times I never found the G-36 (GP37 in CS) no matter how hard I looked for it. After looking some forums on the net it seemed I wasn’t the only one with this problem. Those who did find it said that they got it after completing a quest in the Warehouses, finding it in a stash there or buying it from the Hermit (this I tried and it never worked). So I’ve created a “mod” that allows you to buy the G-36 and the RG-6 grenade launcher from the Hermit without fail. There are two versions, one with both weapons and one without the RG-6. It’s been tested on v1.5.05 but it may work with previous versions. Oh yeah...enjoy!

Installation: Unzip the files to X:Program FilesDeep SilverS.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Clear Sky (or wherever your CS folder is) and modify the line
$game_data$ = false| true| $fs_root$|
to
$game_data$ = true| true| $fs_root$| in the fsgame.ltx file
