This mod gives all the traders in the game more stuff to sell, whether it be guns, armor, ammo, med supplies, etc...
What makes this mod unique is it gives each trader a theme, like the Scientists will pay more for artifacts and low for weapons, while the Barman will be opposite.
EMPORIKON mod (realistic trading) v1.3 by Athanasios =============================================== what it does: Modifies all traders in game to have much more equipment for sale (guns, armor, medical supplies, ammo etc). What makes this mod different from other mods is that it is an effort to give each trader a theme. Scientists for instance give good money for artifacts and monster parts, give low money for weapons, ammo and military armor and have a small stock of weapons (mainly self defence weapons like shotguns, pistols and smgs) and the biggest supply of medical supplies. Freedom has the biggest explosives selection and are the only ones that will sell you artifacts. what each trader sales is explained in more detail bellow =================================================================== ALL TRADERS there is a small dominance in quantity of russian weaponry over western with realism in mind (ie a trader may have 8 ak74 and 2 LR300) Toz and berreta are in the game (however with higher price) most items have random quantity Sniper Rifles are really expensive as are the bullets for them. Some really cool weapons like the Fn2000 are also really rare (and expensive) weapon addons are almost always in stock but have high price quests no longer affect the availabillity of equipment (the trader will sell ak74 and antirad by the first time you talk to him) balanced a bit availability and price for all equipment regular weapons and all ammo will not fetch so good prices anymore but you will still get some cash for your trouble artifacts are the most value/weight efficient item you can sell most of the items appear randomly in the trader's collection some other things that i forgot but are almost certainly really cool TRADER (sidorovich ?) Sales some cheap armors has a good selection of rifles, shotguns, smgs, pistols and ammo lack any serious explosives (like rpg7, rg6, many grenades etc) average selection of medical supplies has good food supplies pays good cash for artifacts, modified wpns/armor, expensive wpns, special ammo and good armors pays crap for monster parts, common ammo, cheap wpns, medical, food etc BARMAN sales average to good armors good selection of rifles, shotguns, smgs, pistols and ammo average collection of explosives has good vodka supply pays good cash for artifacts, modified wpns/armor, expensive wpns, special ammo and good armors pays crap for monster parts, common ammo, cheap wpns, medical, food etc average to good selection of medical supplies SCIENTIST/ECOLOGIST sales enviromental armors only (duty enviromental, seva, green/orange suits) some shotguns some pistols and smgs no rifles really poor collection of ammo the only trader that will sell the gauss rifle (extremely expensive) as well as ammo (rare and expensive) best medical supplies pays really well for artifacts and monster parts pays almost nothing for ammo, weapons and food DUTY best collection of armors (even the exosuit but it costs like 180000ru!!!) good collection of assault rifles, shotguns, smgs, pistols and ammo really good collection of sniper rifles not so good explosives average to good collection of medical pays really well for monster parts pays good cash for artifacts, modified wpns/armor, expensive weapons, special ammo and good armors pays crap for common ammo, common guns, medical, food etc FREEDOM sales freedom and a few neutral armors best explosives collection good collection of rifles, shotguns, smgs, pistols and ammo average to good collection of medical sales artifacts!!! (really expensive) pays good cash for artifacts, modified wpns/armor, expensive wpns, special ammo and good armors pays crap for monster parts, common ammo, common guns, medical, food etc OTHER STALKERS may sale ammo, food and medical (but they will try to take advantage of your need) will pay good money for extremely good weapons/armor and special ammo will pay some cash for artifacts, food and medical supplies will pay a bit of cash for common ammo will pay close to nothing for monster parts ================================================ Instaling: just drag & drop the gamedata folder you found in this zip into the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadow of Chernobyl folder. there is a small possibility of needing to start a new game to use this mod. =============================================================== NEW AND CHANGED IN VERSION 1.1 -all traders (other than the ecologist) will now pay a bit more for "special" ammo variants like ap. -the same goes for explosives -general traders will now buy the good weapons (like the fn2000, sniper rifles and so on) as well as the good armors. -fixed some weapon prices to be more expensive -fix a bug where sidorovich was not buying animal parts at all -tweaked a bit the ecologist -fixed some typos in the readme ================================================================== NEW IN VERSION 1.26 -Tweaked the availabillity of some weapons (they are still there but they will show up like once every 60 visits) -tweaked the price tag for some weapons (toz and a few others) -sidorovich is inferior to barman (they used to sale more or less the same things) - sidorovich however may or may not show some really good bargains; just keep checking him (don'y expect that always, it is like once every game month) -the ecologists have now the worst selection of weapons and ammo (they make up for that with decent armors, medical supplies, favorable artifact prices and of course the gaus rifle) -duty is the leading trader of sniper rifles now -droped the ammounts of ammo (every trader used to have tons of it) -droped the ammounts of many weapons -heavy tweak on generic traders: they will now try to rip you off!!! -special ammo is now much more expensive and rare as is regular to a smaller extent -good weapons are now more valuable to traders (they will pay you more) -fixed some obsolete things in the readme -some other minor things -fixed a serious bug affecting the barman (hence version 1.26 and not 1.2) ============================================================ NEW IN VERSION 1.3 -fixed duty and freedom trader bug where they were not selling weapons (the whole deal was a %^#% "=" symbol i had forgot to type!!!) - tweaked a bit the freedom's trader inventory ==================================== you have my permision to do whatever you want with my mod just give me credit ========================== SPECIAL THANX TO: Balnazzar and solecist for inspiring me to make this mod.
