This is a fix by fwouedd to resolve the binocular and fn2000 problems. I have only tested the binocs so far since I haven't gotten to an fn yet. But fwouedd says he tested it and the fn works. If anyone knows how to spawn an fn let me know and I will test it as well.
I have also created two new textures for the binocs. One is like the existing binocs but with a bit of a green reticle glow and is based off the games default binoc texture. The other is based on the AMK binoc reticle. If you want the default binoc just leave things as is. If you prefer the AMK style binoc then remove the existing binoc or disable it and rename the one called: wpn_crosshair_bino_amk.dds to wpn_crosshair_bino.dds and that one will be used instead.
This is the fix to get the binoculars and Fn2000 to work properly. Extra special thanks to fwouedd! He did all the hard work on this one, I just made a new binoc texture to integrate things better. I haven't gotten to the fn to test it yet. Too many bugs in CS I'm contending with. But the binocs work well. Install: If you are using this then you should have Gnomus's Scope for Clear Sky already installed. Drop this folder overtop your existing gamedata folder and let it overwrite things. NOTE: if you already have a custom scopes_16.xml file the lines that you need to change for the FN 2000 are: <wpn_crosshair_fn2000 x="0" y="0" width="1024" height="768"> <auto_static x="85" y="0" width="854" height="768" stretch="1"> <texture>wpn_crosshair_fn2000</texture> </auto_static> </wpn_crosshair_fn2000> Again thanks again to fwouedd!
