1 - Info

-- This is a necessary update for MaxFinalMOD-INTERNATIONAL, 
   replacing and improving UpdatePack v.1 and Patch also:
   You dont need more them


-- Dimension: 
   UpdatePack(v.2) 37MB unzipped + 1 extra, short, 4.7MB .avi file.
   
   MaxFinaMOD-INTERNATIONAL with UpdatePack v.2: 93 MB about working in Stalker gamedata folder.

2 - Features:


(Replacing old UpdatePack ver.1 and Patch: you dont need more them) 


-- Now in ROSTOK level there is a realistic thin stratum of dissolving SNOW on ground 
   (and on some bush also) to make better and different the usual view. 
   It is not everywhere, but in right places and not fastidious for your eyes.

In this Update, the level has not more SNOW under closed spaces to reflect (or almost) the reality.
And generally it has a better look also and is on right places (I have done the im-possible.. ^^.
It is one of the worse levels about working on it with snow)


-- WEATHERS completed, (no more confusion about Shaders. I surrender) 
   with new SKIES textures (as previous update)
   and about corresponding real time: before the night - night / before the morning - morning).  
-- Source lights more correct. Sun and a ...no words... Moon (much more) visible.  
   NOTE: with Static Light. you see Nights more clear than Dynamic Light. 
   It is a gamma error in default pre-rendering. Honestly I didnt know how fix this.
   But, at last, I have tried to balance the 2 modalities.
-- Always a slow SKY ROTATION, with a general amazing look 
-- NPCs and ACTOR's SHADOWs follow the virtual position of the SUN...
-- SUN raises at (about) EAST and goes down at (about) WEST (almost at 21 - 9 p.m.) 
-- ..........
  
   Features are been heavily changed, and much better and various. 
   You 'll see...... Screenshots are nothing about.
   
   NOTE: those feature are NOT valid for all Stalker's maps 
 
-- Some new in BAR.... 

-- Player's Image (now smoothed) has not more belt.

-- Removing time for dead monsters now is 12 h. (MaxFinalMOD 24 h. / def 36 h.)

-- Reduced binoc. zoom factor to x15 (MaxFinalMOD x20 / def x10)

-- Dogs are in default number again  

-- In STANCIA l12 level (as previous update) the ground is a bit "BURNED" (by fires and continue high radiations maybe) 
   and darker bushes.... Cupe atmosphere.

-- A.I. NPCs features improved, continuing the way of MaxFinalMOD. 
   Finally I am satisfied :)
   A great AI...  

they (enemy, neutral and friends) run more, 
crouch more, 
move more,
have better precision
and precision is perfectly depending by position
have less fear, 
so can try sneak to you
they hear 
and see better
they can feel panic and run away
and can control (or not) the panic
Stalkers can grab weapons by you
And if you give some weapon, dropping it on neutral/friend NPC,
leaving some AMMO in it, they can grab and use (can... not must) with more probability. 
If you go on some roof and you are targeted they can reach easily you on.
They have faster reactions
If you are in car, now they see you better
They change direction of view more often
and have more angular field
They change movements direction more often
chase you for more time and distance
and someone can surround you
They can shot with less pause between shots
can avoid anomalies 
have more memories about events 
and your position/direction
All communities help theirself more
If they have more than 1 weapon they switch more often
(that can be sometime an advantage for you.. because pistols do less damage than other gun)

Total interactions are much more than usual
I hope all 'll work perfectly, as it did till now.
(It is impossible for me alone test all events^^)

NOTE: that is not valid for all NPCs and in every situation.
Sometime happens, sometime no. 
And also because many of them have to follow pre-ordinated behaviors
and others have to respect Quests or other tasks.


-- Changed colors for Rpg7 and Vintar targeting crosses (more visibility now)

-- TOS 34 available, but price is x4 (always cheap btw... )

-- Some TEXTURE redesigned in better quality (radio, drink...)

-- From a poll of stalker.filefront.com... here the ANTI-BORING-NPCs modality 
   Escape military megafon, Guy in Bar-Rostok Hangar, the 2 Bar Guards, Informer inside Bar, 
   Yantar Professor 'll be finally mute. 
   Note: Escape megafon reduced 50% (or just shot it.. for 100% ^^ ... better..).
  
   Added here other (mute) SOUND files about Yantar professor, missing in previous Update.

   (If someone wants re-enable someone of them, just delete the relative files/subfolders. 
   There is an info.txt about any NPC inside).
   I think also you all have muted them without this update. They can be terrible...

3 - Install

-- Uncompress  the "UpdatePack ver.2....zip" in a temporarily folder, 
   then move or copy the "gamedata" folder to S.T.A.L.K.E.R.-Shadow of Chernobyl.
   
-- Dont care about overwriting installed MaxFinalMOD
_______________________________________________

4 - Tips:

Just a note (by a received email)... or you can be too nervous after ^^
(about difficulty level)

Remember: 
1) monsters/enemies are not so weak 
2) you have not unlimited ammos or super-ammos
3) you have not super weapon at every level, 
4) you have not protection outfit at 100%
5) only medKits and bandages can heal
6) radiations and anomalies are active (like default)... 
  (though your resistance to rad. is a bit more)
7) traders just sell things you need. Not less not more. 
   And not too soon or not too late. And something at very high price.
8)  ...........
9)  ...........
10) ...........

Challenge yourself as game requires,

and dont be happy just and only because you can go around with your ( ^^.... superrrrr?) "outfit" 
or your (big?..nice?...super?............. or very "little"?) "gun".
Always with "cool" and "original" graphics, obviously.......... ^^


And ..yes.. I am verrrryyy bad........
But the truth...more than me, maybe.
