This mod enhances the damage of weapons according to caliber and makes firefights more realistic.
Realism Weapon mod by Fabio83 v.1.2 This is the second version of my realism mod. 1)Realistic damage Damage scale starting from the less powerful caliber: 9 x 18 mm 9 x 19 mm FMJ cal 45 black kite (desert eagle) 5.45 - 5.56 7.62 9 39 gauss 2 mm and shotguns cal 12 bulldog6 rpg shotguns have the same damage value of the first version of this mod and however are extremely powerfull from short distances and useless from long distances. 2)No more zoom effect with aim view 3)True statistics for all weapons from weapons sites. I've corrected some value putting the correct rate of fire, initial bullet speed, effective range etc for every weapons in the game like the real weapons. 4)Fixed a couple of little mistakes of first version. 5)Reduce damage scale to make body armors more effective, this dosn't mean that with a heavy body armor you are invulnerable but that you have more chances to survive with a shot or 2. But remember you can die almost of the times with max 3 shot. During tests I saw that for example shoting with a colt45 I can kill a mercenary sometimes with one shot and often with 2 shots, the first shot can stun him the second kill. With a desert eagle you could kill at first shot. Monsters are more resistent so you need more bullets even with this increase of damage. Instructions: -Works with 1.1 patch I don't know if works in 1.0 too but maybe yes and probably will works in future 1.002 patch. -I suggest to play easier difficult level with this mod or stalker level. -Is not necessary restart the game, this mod works with all saves game. Installation 1)unzip the file and copy the "gamedata" folder in "C:\Programmi\THQ\S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadow of Chernobyl" directory 2)play if you dislike it just eliminate this gamedata folder and game return to original
