V0.3 of the "Welcome to the Zone" mod...

1. Created a new weapon for the game. The AK-47. It still looks, and sounds like, an AK-74, though that will hopefully be changing soon. 2. Created an entirely new kind of ammunition for the AK-47. 7.62x39mm. Two variants have also been created. The 7.62x39mm HP, or hollow point, round. The 7.62x39mm AP, or armor piercing, round. 3. Increased the flashlight shine distance from 13, to 25 meters. 4. Decreased the flashlight's shine cone from 60 to 50 degrees. Shouldn't be to much of a difference, but makes the beam more concentrated. 5. Changed what Wolf gives you at the very begining. Instead of recieving a PMM, you will recieve a Barret M9 with 120 rounds of ammunition. 6. The reward you recieve from Wolf for the succesful completion of the first quest has also been changed. You now recieve an AK-47 with 300 rounds of ammunition. This should last you until you get to the Bar. 7. The dialog you have with Wolf has been slightly changed to compensate for the change in reward. 8. The Ak and its ammo have a full description. I have tried to be as accurate as possible with the descriptions in the weapon, and it's ammunition, but I may have things wrong. If you see anything wrong, please contact me so that I can fix it. 9. You are now able to purchase 7.62x39mm Ammunition from Sidorovich, and Barman (all types). 10. Shotguns now do more damage. 11. Trader's are more specialized. They sell things that they have easy access to, or an abundance of. e.g. Scientest Trader sells a lot of AntiRads and Scientest MedKits, cheaper than anyone else.

Welcome to the Zone S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

At this point in time, the Welcome to the Zone mod, only changes a few things, but very soon the aim of this modification will become clear, and it will grow from a mini-mod, to a full blown TC (Total Conversion).

====Installation====
1. Extract all contents of the .zip archive into your S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadow of Chernobyl directory. All necassary files have been included, so there is no need for you to edit anything!

====1. Changes====

====2. Changes from previos Versions====

1. Reworked the AK-47 to have more recoil, do more damage, and be a little cheaper.
2. Changed the AK-47's silenced parameters.
3. Changed the shotguns to do more damage. I thought it pretty pathetic that you couldn't kill certain creatures with a point blank shot. Hopefully this will address that.
4. Trader's sell their "specialty." For now, I've only done some minor modifications to the weapons they sell.
5. Continued to make some small modifications to the dialog in Cordon.
6. Changed the AK-47 to the AKM
7. Made some changes to the descriptions of the AKM, the 7.62x39mm HP, and the 7.62x39mm AP rounds.
8. New Screenshots!

====5. Conflictions with other mods====

My mod will conflict with any other mod that has created a new weapon, a new type of armor, a new type of ammunition.
It will also conflict with any other mod that has changed the color, or range of the flashlight.
It will also conflict with any mod that edits the description of weapons, or changes any dialog from Escape (Cordon).
Finally, it will conflict with any mod that changes quest rewards in Escape (Cordon)

I believe that is it. If you find any other conflictions that aren't listed here, please let me know, so that I can continue to expand the list of known conflictions.

If you would like me to combine my mod, with another mod, please contact me, and I will be more than happy to do it.

====6. Known Issues====

You must Start a new game for the effects of this mod to take effect.
The AK-47 is not available anywhere but from Wolf, after completing the first quest.
The M67 ammunition for the AK-47 is extremely weak, but has excellent armor piercing capabilities. I am aware of this, and working to fix it.
I am aware that the information regarding the AK-47 is pretty off. This will be fixed in later versions.

It was created using patch 1.0003. It may, or may not, work with previous patches. I update my game everytime a new patch comes out so any updates to the mod, will be using the latest official patch.

1. This mod is mine. I created it from scratch, I have not used anybody else's mod for a base.

4. You may edit this mod as you wish. If you release the edited version, obtain my permission.
