Some of you may have been waiting for this to be announced, and sincere apologies for the delay but things were a bit hectic lately, so here it without further delay - the Map/Mission contest winner for 2007. drum roll pleaseTa-da! It's tjoz with his map "Saphira Naru". It was a close vote but we, the staff decided that Saphira Naru was probably the most original and best implemented map. Maybe you agree, disagree..anyway here it is.
Saphira Naru is quite a good map actually. It has a good layout and brilliant mixture of lighting, nebulae and background skins to give a really tense and moody atmosphere.
Concept This map is a 4 player map which is set in a far region of the Romulan Neutral Zone that has been abandoned for quite some time. The system has only just been rediscovered as the Romulans have made improvements to their sensor networks which has countered the sensor dampening nebulae that has kept the Saphira Naru system hidden all this time.
Good stuff!
