Similar to some of the weapon arcs in SFC3, this is more designed around converted Armada models (you'll see why in a mo). As you've probably guessed this provides a weapon for each of the four main races, though replicating it for another added race probably wouldn't be too difficult, that allows you to fire weapons in a 360 degree angle. This is a handy-work around some of the converted Armada models not being able to fire backwards.
For those who have looked, this is essentially the same as the TNG phaser mod, but of course, works for the TOS era of races. So, if you like your Constitution class going in all guns blazing in every direction, my thoughts are you'll want this.

Star Trek Legacy --------------------------------------------------------------- 360° TOS Phasers by gdata ([email protected]) / www.borg-datenbank.de.ms --------------------------------------------------------------- Introduction: This MOD installs Phasers for all four races which can fire in a 360 degree radius. This might be helpful if you have converted Armada models that can't fire rear weapons. With this weapons they can! Everybody has my permission to use this weapons in his mod; but don't forget my name in the credits! Installation: Rename the file "db.pak" in your directory to "db.old"! If you want to disable added weapons you can undo this! Put the following files in <game directory>\odf\weapons\phasers: borg_tos_phaser_5beam.odf kling_tos_phaser_4beam.odf fed_tos_phaser_4beam.odf rom_tos_phaser_4beam.odf If you have a ship you want the weapon add to then look to the odf's weapon area. It might be called like this: // Aft Phaser strips weapon2 = "fed_tos_phaser_3beam" weaponHardpoints2 = "hp11" "hp12" "hp13" "hp14" Now replace the line "fed_tos_phaser_4beam" with the one of the odf's names! But without extension!!! Then it might look like: // Aft Phaser strips weapon2 = "fed_tos_phaser_4beam" weaponHardpoints2 = "hp11" "hp12" "hp13" "hp14" Now your ship can fire in every direction!!!
