Terradhyne is certainly making a name for himself on LegacyFiles...and he hasn't even sent in any mods to us yet! Not to mind though, as this is a convert of his nicely done Ajax class from Armada II (look at the pics, it does look fine if you ask me). This is a kind of sub-battleship. Not weak enough for a cruiser, but not powerful enough, I think, to be a battleship. Nevertheless this TOS ship, please note that there is only the one version so by the time you get to the TMP stuff this will already be out-dated, boasts a large amount of forward weaponry whilst still remaining good in terms of design. She does have quite a few command points though, so it'd likely be used only in the earlier missions of the TOS era, or if you just need to fill in a few hundred more command points.
A nice model and whilst the textures do perhaps show, its good material to shoot the Klingons with, so for that reason, it has got to be good!
Description: This is the Ajax class, ported from Armada 2. A TOS and TMP model. This time I took a ship model that was modded. (Man that Saber was hideous.) Installation: Place the odf file "F_Ajax in your "C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Star Trek Legacy\odf\ships" Place the odf file "fed_tos_bluepulse2" in your "C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Star Trek Legacy\odf\weapons\Pulse" Place the m3d file in your "C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Star Trek Legacy\M3D" Place the RGB files in your "C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Star Trek Legacy\Textures\RGB" Enjoy! Support: Works on Skirmish and Campaign; should work on MP if every player has the model. Bugs: The gray patch instead of the ship icon is one. The other is a mixed up serial number, or when your ship is called "Ticonderoga" when the serial number on the hull says "Ajax." Both bugs can't be helped now, sorry. :( Contact: Email me at samuel.ordoniaAThotmail.com Legal Stuff: No plagirizing. (I think I spelled it right.) :) Credits: Original model made by our good friend Terradyhne. Ported by Aflac.
