This is the much improved version two of the Andoria Class. This is 10 times better than the original Andoria Class with full ingame features added - bumps, glows, specs, damage textures..etc.
This is a decent ship and it's always good to get new designs in the TOS era (a bit of a neglected era). The Andoria reminds me of a TOS version of the Chimera Class, and going by it's design I would place it somewhere around 2240's-50's. Looks good in game, definately get it if you enjoyed the origianl Andoria Class :cool:
Details about the ship design The Andoria is a early TOS design, which was created to test the Constitutions weapons systems. It has a similar saucer section, but the bridge is no on the hull. The Andoria's Warpdrive is not that much developed as the one of the Constitution. Its main weaponry are the photon torpedoes which are launched from the weapons pod between the nacelles. Its hull has been armored for some tests.
