Designed to complement Quantum Phasers, the next generation of pulse phaser weaponary...Quantum Pulse Phasers... Background:-

During the begining of the Second Dominion War, Starfleet refitted six starships and began mass producing them as armored variants. By 2386, they were fitted with Quantum Phasers, and Quantum Pulse Phasers. Unlike the Quantum phaser array, the Quantum pulse phasers proved to be a power weapon for the Jadzia Class starships. Being able to cause hull damage while an enemy shields were up proved to be an more effective means against the Dominion's firepower.

The Jadzia class starships where the first utilize the new pulse cannons which destroy an Jem'Hadar War ship almost instantly. These pulse phasers were later used on the newly built Delta Class and soon to be used in Battleships in Rogue Fleet. By the start of the Thrid Romulan Earth war, the Quantum Pulse phaser have met with some resistance with the technology and ships they've borrowed or stolen.

However, with the Federation's production of the F-18 and Raptor Classes, Starfleet managed to win the war against the Romulans with the new tech it developed over the years of the Earth-Romulan war. The help of both the newest ships they've produced, the F-18 and Raptor, and the Armored Fleet.

Notes from the author:-

I had some help with acidfluxxbass while making this mod. The Quantum Pulse Phasers are a step up in Federation Technology. On next-gen ships such as the Raptor Class and Delta Class, helps utilizing this new technology specifcally designed for defense against it's enemy's such as the Dominion and the Borg. When i was beta testing this weapon mod orginally for the Jadzia Class made by acidfluxxbass, I stopped and asked myself, would it be great if Starfleet had something to supplement their quantum torpedos. So at first acid created what would become the Quantum Pulse Phasers, and I created what would become the Quantum Phasers. We're both happy that we did the work on this mod.

On balance - taking in to account both aesthetics and 'mechanics', although a fairly simple weapon in design, it is quite elegant and would suit the newer generation of vessels. It would certainly go well with any other of the weapons from the Quantum range aboard a future starship design. My only complaint is that suggested weapon sounds have not been included - but there are plenty of them out there, so this isn't a biggie!

Don't forget to include credits and seek permission before including this in any of your future modifications, should you wish to release them.

[Bugs/Problems]
There are no bugs at all in this weapons mod. However for
users that are using any of the conversion mods | please 
read this tutorial below:

Open your weapons sprite file, in the sprites file and the following lines 
under "Federation Pulse phaser":
