Surak TNG Refit The year is 2385. Its been two years of battling the dominion and this time the federation are losing. They have recommisioned some old Surak class Vulcan ships and refitted them with the latest Federation technology in a bid to improve their front line. They have new modern vulcan phasers and torpedoes with federation warp capabilities. The hull has been completely remade.

Surak TNG Relic The year is now 2390. 7 years into the war and the federation are losing ships quickely. Unable to keep up with the demand in ships and resources, the federation have recommisioned more Surak class ships but have spent less time refiting them. They have simply improved weapons and shields fitted by the vulcans and then thrown into battle as a little extra fire power.

Yet another good retexture/refit from acidfluxxbass, this mod see's the Vulcan Surak Class brought back from the shipyards with a complete refit and weapons overhaul. Now that Starfleet have got there hands on it in my opinion of the Surak TNG refit is for lack of a better word, a beautiful/graceful ship.

For less than 5000 command points you get a ship that can match a modern TNG destroyer, however, it's classing as a battlecruiser may be a bit optimisitc. In numbers however its a cheap ship to get hold of, which considering the background story is very appropriate.

With the Surak relic compliments have to once again be paid to acid, a simple retexture has seen the graceful TNG refit turn into and old rust bucket of a warhorse. Something that I still wouldnt hesistate to take into battle as an escort ship. The glows at the threshold of warp speed leave room for a bit of work, but however, this is a well balanced ship with not much in the way of faults.

All in all another cool mod from acid, its great to see more races merging into the federation fleet, although not without its difficulties, I can safely assume that these will be smoothed out in time, and one can only think that this sort of race merge will of course be going the other way as well with the other species of Legacy.
