Several weeks after the release of the first two parts of tiptop's TMP Federation pack tiptop finished his work on the third part, which contains the Excelsior and Constellation variants. In particular the

NX Excelsior class
Excelsior class
Excelsior class refit (Lakota/Enterprise B)
Shelley class
Illustrious class
Centaur class
Constellation class
Constellation class Challenger subtype
and Raging Queen class

To make a long story short: It is another masterpiece by tiptop: All ships use high resoluted textures (2048*2048) and are high-poly. tiptop mentioned on the forums that he reached the Milkshape 3D polygon limit (~60k polygons) when he modeled the Constellation class. Consequently you should not choose four Constellations when battling seven opponents on a map that's full of nebulae. No, it is not that bad, but when testing these ships on a map with ~40 ships the game lagged sometimes. The textures are well-done, look realistic and fit the other TMP ships perfectly. :thumbsup:

Guess what's next? This TMP pack will be followed by several Terran retextures and a TLE pack containing refits of the old TMP ships and several new models.

Additionally tiptop recommends (and I do as well ;)) downloading the first part and the second part of the TMP packs as an addition to the third pack.

Note: This pack contains two sets of odf-files for use in Trek Battles 2 and stock/unmodified Legacy.

Description:

Finally I've finished the third and last part of my TMP Pack. Hope You'll like it.

The pack contains two sets of odf files. One for stock Legacy and one for Trek Battles 2.
I recommend using my pack with TB2 but You can also use them in stock Legacy. I also
recomend using this pack with the first part available here:

!!!These ships are high poly meshes with 2048x2048 texture files , so slower PCs may have 
problems with them!!!

In this part You'll find these ships:

-Excelsior class early(NX Excelsior) 	battleship

-Shelley class (DS9)     		troop transport

Installation for Trek Battles 2:

Unpack the TMPpack3.rar. Inside You'll find folder named "TMP Pack III" Go into that folder and
delete the "StockODF" folder. After that just copy the content of the "TMP Pack III" folder 
into your Legacy directory.

List of TB2 ships replaced after installation of this mod:
- Excelsior class
- Excelsior Refit class
- Centaur class
- Constellation class

Unpack the TMPpack3.zip. Inside You'll find folder named "TMP Pack III" Go into that folder and
delete the "odf" folder. Next rename the "StockODF" folder to "odf". After that just copy the
content of the "TMP Pack III" into Your Legacy directory.

List of stock Legacy ships replaced after installation of this mod:
- Excelsior class
- Excelsior class refit
- Centaur class
- Constellation class

I've added modified original odf files for Excelsior , Exceslior Refit and Centaur. This way You'll have my models for the TOS/TMP period but the original ships will be awailable in the TNG period. (I'm planning TNG refits of my ships later , so for now I wanted to leave the TNG era like it is)
