Abridon 6, by bobfinkl, is - for better or worse - Endor. If Pandemic had taken the basic Endor map, made it smaller, removed command posts, and changed the units to CW units, this is about what we'd get.
That's not all a bad thing - this isn't a poorly-constructed map. There are no floating objects and it looks pretty good (although exactly like Endor). It's a little weird (and it technically makes no sense, readme explanation or not) to have the Death Star II floating above the heads of the Clones and CIS.
The real issue with this map is in the gameplay department. There are still just four CPs (although they appear to have been moved a little). There are no special units for either team (except for the Republic's jettrooper). This makes winning the game extraordinarily easy (especially once you get a hero). A battle here will probably last no more than about 5 minutes.
In summary, this isn't a bad map, construction-wise, although I would avoid making a map that looks so much like a preexisting stock map (especially the DSII skydome - that's easy to fix and should have been done right away). Make sure for future maps that you work on the gameplay - don't make it so easy to win that your map becomes dull.
Abridon 6 cw story: the republic has successfully destroyed the first of all death stars, the republic have the death star plans but the gunship carrying them crashed in a forest. now the 102nd legion has to secure the death star plans while trying to capture jango fett. bugs: 1. there is no boundary but in version 2 i will make the valley to high to climb if any others are found please tell me and i will fix them immediately installation: copy and paste AB6 into your addon folder
